=vol=, 07 Dec 2009is there any cellphone out there that has a am radio station? its always fm station are only a... moreThe REASON why people don't put AM radio on phones is because it requires a SPECIFIC Antenna coil to receive AM. Which means it adds alot of bulk to the phone.

Can anyone confirm if it has FM radio or not? Various sites say yes and a hand full of sites say no. Where do we stand about this? The same happens with flash led for de 5Mp camera. I already questioned Expansys in Portugal and they only no whats in ther site.
Clove.co.uk confirmed to me via email (and it is posted on their website) that the Acer A1 liquid will support 3G frequencies of 850/1900/2100
The 850 is very important for people on some carriers (eg Telstra NextG in Australia)
If those specs are correct I foresee the battery life being horrible!
this can be pre-ordered by Expansys (http://www.expansys.be/d.aspx?i=188154) for €355

Hi does anyone know when it will be available? Will it support dvix or not?
A few things about this phone; the most important is the fact that it does NOT have flash (unfortunately). Even more unfortunate is the lack of a secondary front camera (for video calls) and the fact that it's main back camera records QVGA (as far as we know). However, the SnapDragon running at 768 MHz isn't necessarily a bad thing. The fact that Acer didn't over-customize this phone's OS is reason enough to underclock the obviously capable processor. Not only does that extend battery life, but at the time of its release, this phone will STILL be one of the fastest phones available. And although it will be running Android 1.6 at its release, Acer has confirmed that it will be upgradeable to 2.0 next year. The most exciting thing about this phone (for me) is the fact that it will be the first Android phone capable of running on AT&T's 3G network. Take that, iCan't!
