Jio Sim Works absolutely fine , This device only catches FDD 4G network not TDD , so someplaces where FDD network is available you can use JIO sim. How to check that the network signal is available - Go to Settings-More-Cellular Network-Network Operators-Search Network.
You will see "IND-JIO-4G"..if this is not showing on your device it means there is no FDD 4G network available in your city.
