Adobe kicked off its Max conference with updates to its entire suite of apps.
One of the biggest announcements is Photoshop for the web browser. It's a web version of Photoshop with limited editing support, meant for collaborative work. You can store PSDs to the cloud, share a link to collaborators and review and comment in a new commenting panel that will sync with Photoshop on desktop.
Photoshop on the iPad got a huge update. It now supports RAW files from the entire Adobe Camera RAW list, as well as Apple ProRAW files from the iPhone 12 and 13. Other features such as Sky Replacement, Healing Brush, and Magic Wand are now on iPad's version of Photoshop as well.
The new smart object masking feature has arrived for Photoshop on Desktop. Just hover over an object and Sensei AI machine learning can isolate it in a new mask, so you can apply local adjustments to it. For multiple objects you can choose Layer > Mask All Objects to generate masks.
Landscape Mixer can generate a whole different season to a landscape shot in seconds. This feature will even mask and harmonize people in the scene so they don't look out of place.
