Battery life is ok for regular texting use. If you need to make frequent calls, you will need a phone with a bigger battery eg 800mAh or more.

nkyer, 30 Jun 2018why dont alcatel 10.16g dont have bluetooth It's a basic phone for calls and texts and radio. If you want Bluetooth, you will need a different type of phone, eg one with a camera and a media card slot.

Don't buy.
Positives: Phone has a decent user interface. It is easy to navigate and has the features you need from a phone (SMS, calls, call settings), and some utilities (torch, radio, etc).
Drawbacks: While I was using it dialled the emergency services on multiple occasions while in my pocket as it does not have a functionality to set a screen lock password /pin. Also, I am sure no one buys this phone for features, but in case you are wondering there is no camera.
Summary: Would never buy this phone again. Worse than useless -it made me waste the time and resources of emergency service staff.

Can someone please explain why EE omitted all the languages and there's just English? I have a "Lock UK EE" Alcatel 10.16 and it only has 1 language which is English. I also have a "UK Openmarket" Alcatel 10.16 which has 4 other languages.

400mAh is not enough. Not even for a phone like this. The battery life is abysmal in every sense of the world (standby and actual use of the phone). This is coming from someone who actually owns this phone.

There is ONLY 1 language on the phone (apart from "auto") if it's locked to EE.

Good basic phone for short calls, not for frequent long conversations (small battery). I like the operating system because it allows me to move and copy messages and copy contacts. Nice to have the radio both for pleasure and for local emergency situations. I got it for emergencies and appointments, not for long chats. Fine for my purposes, but I can't find the vibrator!
