This phone is absolute rubbish, poor battery life, keeps going on and off, keeps adding stuff I don't need , I cannot delete all the programmes I don't need, best place for this phone is to send back to china
I've been having this Alcatel 1s 2021 for some time. It firstly seemed sus for me, and now it's even worse. Firstly that it glitches, frozens over and over and secondly it's really hard to find phone cases for this mf. Yeah it may have a reasonable price , but don't waste your money on this. Now I'm stuck with this mf for a long time
mac1622, 04 Apr 2022Good phone but no FM Radio ??????Yes
Good phone but no FM Radio ??????
As an user of 1S (2020) this isn't enough of improvements. I'm satisfied with performance of my 1S but I would prefer at least a bit better processor and at least 4GB of RAM in 2021. Otherwise it's should be fine for the money.
Is the same stuff of 1S 2020 even the processor Helio P22 is the same only different is a bit bigger.
VJ, 03 Aug 2021Overall it has impressive parameters for the price. However, it's charging is limited to ... morefast chargers or 65w that quickly charge the battery produce great stress for the battery which degrades it several times faster than normal charging.
So in description said that it does not have NFC in fact it has NFC module.
Overall it has impressive parameters for the price. However, it's charging is limited to 10W, which is way far from fast charging 65W.
for 65 euros this is a great phone, large display, great battery, satisfying camera and everything works smoothly.
Pete, 17 May 2021Ok for the money but there is absolutely no point in getting this when the Galaxy A12 costs no... morethe A12 is a steaming pile for the money a12 is £160 in the uk vs 1s £95, having sold the A12 and been getting complaints about the camera and speed of the phone that is not a good phone
Ok for the money but there is absolutely no point in getting this when the Galaxy A12 costs not that much more and it runs laps around this thing in every way.
I Don't have it. It's expensive.
pretty nice for a burner phone
Saro, 09 Apr 2021Say about camera performanceCamera is never the strong point of any sub $100 phone. For Alcatel 5V, the rear camera unit is adorned with a 12MP main sensor with 5P lens. The main is supported by a 2MP (3P lens) depth sensor. The main sensor under bright sunlight takes some acceptable pictures with support for PDAF (Phase Detection Auto-Focus) but struggles during night.
On the video front it can shoot upto 1080p @ 30fps with EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) which is a big plus. Google Lens is integrated with default camera app which always come in handy. We get the usual Night mode & face beauty features.
The front 8MP selfie camera with 4P lens is barely passable and good only for social media stuff. The default camera app also comes with supports for interpolated 13MP & 16MP modes for front & rear for fake increase in megapixel count. To me this is pure cheating for marketing purposes. This applies to all Alcatel phones. The dual tone LED flash in the rear is a great addition though.
