1) It has 16GB, but how many are user available on brand new one?
2) It has not have a rapid charging function, so how much time does it take to get it 0%-100%?

george toutou, 18 Nov 2015Do you know if the idol 3 will be upgraded to android 6(marshmallow) ?I heard it upgrades in early 2016 but not sure if it`s true. Heard a lot of great things about Marshmallow.

I got the 3rd gen moto g on a budget tier contact on the recommendation on the sales rep. Unfortunately it was only the 8gb model, and while ram performance never suffered under my use the one thing that annoyed me was how quickly the storage filled up. Sure I also had a 32gb sd card in there, but you can only transfer so much. With about 20 apps, including 5 games (the largest was just over 100mb) and after the stock apps took their greedy share updating I was left with under 2gb. An afternoon of web browsing saw my cache grow to 1.5gb. Less than a days use, I didn't like where this was going. To top it off, I noticed the top open earpiece slot looked damaged. The membrane was all wrinkled up like someone pressed into it with a fingernail.
I went back the next day and exchanged for the idol 3. I'm very impressed, nearly all aspects of the phone are a step above the moto g. With double the storage I have no issues, and don't have to pick and choose what I install.
Still, the moto g is a great device. Decent build quality and excellent software. But personally I feel like the idol 3 us the better deal.

I started bogging down a lot on my Moto G (2nd) and hope the improvement in processors and increase in RAM will help, also battery was getting eaten up - not that it isn't a great phone, I just increased my use substantially and was too demanding for it. If they had put two front speakers on the Gen 3, I might have tried that with 2 GB, but they didn't. How do you rate the Idol 3 against your Moto G?
Great phobe!!!! I have it for 4 month now and i love it more and more! After i root it i increased speakers volume, battery life and phone's speed..... All my friends are impresionated by my alcatel! It's not that quick as idol 2 because it's a snapdragon procesor instead mtk, but is much powerfull. I opened 30apps in background and the phone didn't slow at all. Multitasker works great! The sound and image are perfect! Elegant design, but you got to take care of it. Don't drop it! The screen is very rezistant at scratces but the back and the crome bar dosn't! If u have any quostions, contact me

This is a great phone...call quality perfect but alittle low on the receiving end...Signal strength is OK...phone is very fast in my opinion...Nova 3 runs perfect but it did lag once or twice but that was the first time I played it...over all not disappointed with performance so far...its alot better than I expected honestly...I have huge hands so one handed use on this is quite easy for me ...phone seems very well build its extremely light for the size...finally the the screen best I've ever seen...zero brightness is bright enough for me even in direct sun light the phones is still viewable at 0% Display brightness...I found this incredible For $675 XCD ($250 USD)...money well spent
Strontium, 09 Nov 2015You shouldn't be able to have WiFi on in aeroplane mode..!!!Check the other brands!!!
The only gripe I have with this phone is that the SAR value is quite high, nearly the maximum allowed by the FCC.
Airplane mode switches off all communications.
BUT, in airplane mode you can switch ON Wi-Fi, BT or NFC.
Many planes offer entertainment thru Wi-Fi, but there are other purposes to use flight mode, where calls are forbidden or you want to web-surf without being disturbed by incoming calls.
You just have to check the other brands!!! i.e., check this link:
