The Windows 10-powered alcatel IDOL 4S, which is currently only available in the US (through T-Mobile), might soon hit Europe as well. A tweet from the company's French subsidiary says select European countries, including France will be getting it.
Vous avez été nombreux à nous interroger sur l’IDOL 4S Windows 10. Good news : quelques pays en Europe (France 😀) vont l’avoir ! #staytuned— alcatel mobile FR (@alcatelmobileFR) December 13, 2016
No word on pricing though. Also, It's worth noting that unlike alcatel's other country-specific Twitter accounts, the French account isn't verified, although it does seem to be run by an official representative.
Anyway, coming back to the smartphone, it's powered by a Snapdragon 820 SoC and sports a 5.5-inch full HD display. RAM is 4GB, while internal memory is 64GB. The handset features a 21MP/8MP camera combo, and packs in a 3,000mAh battery. There also support for Windows Continuum, Windows Hello as well as VR.
Alcatel is selling this smarphone with Windows 10 only in USA and now is saying that will sell t in europe,. This is a much more smart decision, once in USA people dont like or dont buy Windows operating System, but the Market in europe is munch bett...
I will be blasting Asphalt 8 and Asphalt Xtreme on it, along with Facebook Messenger that seems to require 2GB of RAM on Windows 10 Mobile
Windows 7.5 couldn't do that properly. Windows 10 with the anniversary update is in a whole different league. Far superior to Android in almost all ways.
