I just got an Idol X+, still brand new in the box for $150. What a great deal! I have a Galaxy s4, iPhone 5, and Nexus 5 in the house. This runs circles around them. Build quality is phenomenal, amazing screen, music is awesome through the external speaker, battery is very good. Still on Kit Kat, but what's the big deal? Install Google launcher and Google keyboard and you have 99% of the lollipop experience.

i use this phone too good but its speakers not high so i use other small phone more higher sound

I am using this phone for last 10 months.
Best value for money.
Have not been able to find equivalent features in any other brand ( except Chinese ) .
Sound decible seems little less. But fine othervise
Recently bought Sony Xperia Z ultra. But I would rate Alcatel one touch Idol X+ 6043 better.
Faced an car accident recently and Alcatel was found laying on the road.... no damage to the screen ,body edged did get bruised though.... quite strong glass...Corning guirella 3....

Dear guys,
I am using the IDOL X+ for nearly an year, but recently for the past few weeks I am facing a problem in viewing the photos in gallery. The photos are available in the folder but it is not viewed in Gallery. I performed with a factory data reset as well but still I couldn't view the photos in Gallery. But it is not all the photos the few of the images are can be viewed in gallery. The phone is available with more than 3 GB of free space. Previously I dont have any issue like this, I could view all the images & photos in gallery irrespectively which folder it is. Please provide me some solution to get rectify from this.

raja, 22 Mar 2015hi dear i brought this phone 2 months before before it was ok.but now battery drain very very ... moreEnable Settings->'Battery management'-> 'Saving Mode' and give it a try. Alternate suggestions are under the same menu, you can get list of applications which consumes more battery. Uninstall them or report it.
PS: This phone has Octa-core processor. If too many apps are running in phone, and 8 cores can come active, which will consume too much power. It is better to un-install unwanted widgets and apps. Esp. WiFi,3G etc. can use too much power.

Using it for 2 months.. Cams are HD(you need to focus first), really really good. Battery is exactly 2500 on my 32gb ram dual-sim variant. Before, the only issue I have is that it increases its temperature so fast, tho I had no complaints because it can handle the heaviest of apps. But then... It finally gave up, it has been freezing, crashing, rebooting, and all over again. I've searched it on different online forums any many have similar experience and you have to reset everything to factory settings... Its really a shame....

Using since July14.Very bad phone.The false metal finish has given way to the white plastic underneath.Battery drains within few hours.Sim card is not recognized quite often.The phone gets heated very fast.Could not connect it with laptop on USB mode
