No... moreThank you for your reply, well, I'm not gonna play games much, maybe once in a month or something, but I want to make sure as I carry this phone with me around, lets say a day of city exploration (which means taking photos or occasional video) along with checking my fb, messages, browsing the Internet, I don't wanna start worrying around 4pm that how much of the battery is left and stuff like that. I hope you get my exact point. I also will use it to read .pdf e-books or notes so that's another main tasks that I'm gonna do. So with all this, you still think it is a good choice given its price compared to Galaxy S4 is a big win?

I owned this phone since 7/10/2013.to this moment, the phone still serve me well. No complaint about lagging and stutter. You have to be concerned abput the battery life though. Prepare your self a power bank because heavy usage will flattened the battery in couple of hours. Light usage is no problem. Go ahead for this phone. Do check for defective phone because there are few complaint about their phone behaving strangely(check other opinions). Mine was just fine though. Thats all. Thank you..
I accidentally came across this beauty in the shop where I was checking out the Galaxy S4 mini and HTC One mini since I couldn't convince myself that 5" phones are for me due to their large size, but the moment I laid eyes on Idol X's screen, wow, I was taken away and started having second thoughts about whether I should act out of the box and give Idol X a try. But I'm concerned about its battery life, user experience after using it for sometime (if it is gonna lag, etc.) and Alcatel's customer service (since they are not big in the smartphone market like HTC, Samsung, etc.) in case I need it. I have LG Optimus G in the back of my mind too, so I don't know what to do. What do you guys think?
Can anyone tell some more detailed about the sound quality through headphones with the Idol X?
And anyone knows how's the picture-quality of the 8MP shooter?
Jaz, 01 Nov 2013does this phone support usb otg function?Yes, it does support OTG. I've tested: mouse, keyboard, USB flash drive.

gays i want to pay new phone i just confused between this device LG G E975
The battery life on this phone is just fine. It can last a full day with moderate use. Screen on time goes from 3,5 up to 4 hours on my Idol X.
king, 17 Nov 2013Actually it has the worst battery ever...2000mah ..!!!Yup that's one of the downsides unless ure ok with carrying powerbank around,
Do you think it's durable to use like at least 2 years? As I am a student so changing phone regularly is not in my list. Are you an Idol x user?
farshad, 15 Nov 2013screen is not very important to me but i have heard that alcatel hardware is not as good as lg... moreThe screen is slightly smaller for lg. Honestly i dont own anyof these two phones but i guess the camera is ok for both. I have an xperia sl with 12 mp camera and before a software upgrade, it was also not tht good. Only now it works well. Btw lg got nfc
U can check the camera quality for lg phone in this website, just click next to the camera specs

javen_gem, 13 Nov 2013Just want to know if skype running smoothly in this device...pls answer...no problem at all.
masnana, 14 Nov 2013Battery can last more than 24hrs in normal operating or standby, but if you are heavy user, etc ... moreThat is right, actually I removed the phone from power yesterday morning, I have 3 mails syncing, skype running in the background, Lync running all the day long. In the evening a little bit of Wifi browsing a little bit of 3G browsing.
Today in the morning the battery was still showing 34%.
With Motorola Razr, I could dream about that.
