It is a pretty cool phone, just bought it 1 week ago.. much better on samsung phones.. very unique in its own way..
I have this phone for over two months and I must say that I am very satisfied.
Battery holds two days with ongoing 3G and WiFi.
Very good flash and pictures, video bit weaker but for that price a great phone!
Games i dont play...
I have had the phone in my hands and in real it looks even better than on the pics. Very sleek design with no brand name on the front, so the glass surface really looks clean. Nice phone.
Milantic, 02 Oct 2013When some update of android come for this fon....:)It's officialy announced to end of year 2013, maybe little late. Android 4.1.2 and this (maybe, not sure) should be last update.
Anonymous, 28 Sep 2013where does one insert the 2nd sim? I only see 1 sim slot while the other is for microsd slot. There are two versions. The single SIM as you say has a SIM and a SD card slot (4gb internal memory). The dual SIM has no SD slot, at its place is the slot for the second SIM, but it has 16gb of internal memory to compensate for the lack of the SD slot.
Benjamin, 27 Sep 2013My SIM card does not fit in the SIM Card Slot. How do I go about making my SIM card fit. Sho... morethe sim must be MICRO SIM, so go to phone store and they have a pliers and will make it micro sim :)

My SIM card does not fit in the SIM Card Slot. How do I go about making my SIM card fit. Should my SIM card be replaced for one that will fit in my Alcatel 6030X. Or is this DIY-able ?
I'm having a great time exploring my new cellphone. I used to have an IPhone but quite frankly, Android is beginning to make sense. I know of some friends who have been using the same Asus Transformer Primero tablets for more than two years now and they have never spent a single cent on any app or cloud service, email client from the Market. Is this possible? Even for quality conscious users and even for business application?
Thanks in advance!
After reading reviews i finally bought one snd no regrets! Good job alcatel:-)
writes that supports SD card but I do not see room for it in the pictures a supporting role in this model 6030d
Can some pls one shed some light
1-How is the audio output thru speakers / headphones
2-does MHL video output work smooth
3-In the US , does the phone come with 1Gb / 512Mb memory
Does anybody have this funny thing with the screen? I have an Idol 6030 (I guess it's X version, because it's only one SIM and Memory card). My screen blinks for a second and that's it... it's so weird... also, home, multitasking and back buttons do to... didn't notice any pattern of it, wifi is turned of and so is the data transfer over mobile network...
