You can assign ringtone to contacts, though there are just a few ringtones. Calculator isn't user friendly it takes some times to get used to it, so you can't use it in a hurry situation IMO. It has power saving option by turning off backlight in a period. There are 5 groups for contacts and also you can assign ringtone to groups. It has 2 games: F1 race and Puzzle.
Damn! It's slow. Real slow. Don't count on it for sms typing if you send a lot of text messages. Turning off key tone during typing helps a little. Navigating between menus or searching in contacts are also slow and with some lag. The sound on the other hand is loud and clear. Battery lasts for about 3 or 4 days for me. It has some useless settings, like disable or enabling greeting at phone startup! or changing tone when you turn the phone on or off. Who cares really?
Good little lovely phone! The keys are not dust proof and I'm afraid they will be hard to press after a while. The cpu( if there is any) is slow and the phone lags behind specially when type for sms, you should wait till it complete your words. It's not a big problem for me. I don't text that much. If you have any question let me know. Overall I'm satisfied.
papi, 02 Mar 2011now they cost 15 euro :DNow in Macedonia,U can have two of this for 16 euros, and both with SIM-card and 200 min.monthly free talk between those two numbers,it's enough, don't you think?

I have a OT 108 and I have been trying to find out if it is 108(A) or 108(X). Nobody from Alcatel has returned my messages and they do not answer their phone. Are they still in business? Can anybody help?
I bought my alcatel ot 108 in Australia. Can I take it overseas and use one of their local sim cards??
Nice phone. I bought a brand-new unlocked OT-108 for €12.90 as a spare for my OT-505. I like the good battery life.
Alcatel should be more careful when taking pictures of their poor reviewed menu. In the main pictures one can see OPITIONS, instead OPTIONS. What else to expect from them?
Just bought the phone in Italy for €14,90. Have always been fond of Alcatel phones because of their performance, thought this was a bargain. I was right. It has indeed a flashlight in the back, b+w screen with simple big digital clock screen saver, LOUD midi ringtones (bit stupid tunes though, but who cares), vibration good. Lightweight, simple, good phone.
It is not a Camara it is the flash light in the back of the mobil.
In Mexico its 370 pesos its like 30.20 US Dollars
