damn. i got an alcatel like this a few years ago. is a preety good phone and if i born again. maybe will buy an Alcatel OT556

CORNELIU, 06 Apr 2006I have one ALCATEL OT 556 but I am very angry because I can't find an adaptor IRDA (infrared) ... morei have the same problem. since not all usb infrared adapter support this model, so please if you know one that is available in Egypt please post its model & where to find it. thanks in advance.

thx guys for sending all the needed info regarding this phone.alwiz wondered how to send pix or get .midi songs to my hp.thx to JC. i found my solution.bought IrDA 2day and now i got no problem in sending the pix2my pc.b4 this it only can be done using GPRS.

It's good phone. Java games, i answer. We could with IRDA send java games! You mast have "mob time callphone Menager! I've got 5vdc 440ma but it's orginal, 18 dolars

IT'S THE WORST PHONE IN THE WORLD!!!1.Horiible memory..extremely poor image quality...extremely poor sound quality..night shots are impossible...the price is way 2 high for a piece of junk such as Alcatel 556...i've wasted money for a piece of garbage..DON'T BUY IT!!!!
