Does anyone else have a problem with it I love the phone & the features don't get me wrong but from the very first day it didn't send all my txt's to people - and just recently i found it hadn't recieved some either. Someone else from my work may have the same problem with the alcatal 565 & she's just checking her contacts tonight. And just so you kno i kno it's not my sim card cuz that works on other phones. Email me please if you find you have any problems similar to what i've just discribed.

Decent phone especially for 350 NZD. The Camera is excellent! and the ringtones sound great.

Very good phone at an excellent price.My only problem is that it seems to be too big, I had a Siemens S 55 before, and the quality of the plastic is not exceptional.But is verysturdy ,battery is very good and the signal strong.has lots of features, a logical menu and the camera is pretty good.Over all, I doubt there is a better phone in this price range and even further.It has all you need in a mobile phone and more.

The alcatel ot 565 polyphonic (40 channels) can fight with samsung polyphonic (40 channels) or not? Will the ot 565 polyphonic lose to other 40 channels polyphonic. My means is the quality of alcatel ot565 polyphonic good or not. And i want ask the usb port is use for what?

From my research, the OT 565, 556 and 557 only differ cosmetically. In fact, the latter share an instruction manual, and the electronic copy of the 565 looks the same to me. I am very happy with my OT557, easy to use, good reception, great sound, many features. If one needs video and bluetooth, go for the model higher in the range. If not, this has everthing most people need, including a VGA camera, speakerphone, java games, WAP over GPRS, IR link with PC address books, etc, etc at a reasonable price in a (to me) attractive shape. Five Stars!
