I have owned this phone for maybe 6 months (more or less) and all I have to say is DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE! I was going to buy the Nokia 3200 but nearly everyone had it so I decided to buy this piece of junk. That was a big mistake. This doesn't have radio, the camera quality is very bad, you can not change the cover if it gets to stratched, the infrared [sp?] only works with other Alcatel phones, depending on where you live (Australia) I could find no accessories for this phone and so much more. Sure I COULD explain the good points about this phone but the bad points just out number them. I HIGHLY DISCOURAGE YOU (IF YOU HAVEN'T DO SO ALREADY) TO BUY THIS PHONE! Always buy a phone that has more than one model on the market (Nokia, Motorola, Sony Ericsson etc.) because the accessories will be much easier to find and the price of the phone won't plummet so you will feel like you mad a good choice (The One Touch 735 was $320 AU which I bought it for. In about 1-3 months it went all the way down to $99. I got ripped!). BOOO ALCATEL!

I personally don't have this phone, but my friends does and I got to see how it works (really bad). I don't advice you to buy it. The picture quality with the incorporated camera is very low. Most pictures are too dark, because they need fabulous lightning. All in all, its other functions are OK, but there are many other phones that have these funtions. This Alcatel is surely not worth it. Someone here mentioned Motorola...That's surely much better! Go for Motorola, leave Alcatel behind!

I like my onetouch. Best price/value ratio.
Whats cool:
- display (never seen better!)
- keybord - faaaaast
- addressbook (lot of nokia users has
problems with switchable sim/mem)
- camera (not an Olympus, but the
autoexposure is a pretty nice job)
What sucks:
- diary slows down (100+ entries)
- sms must be received onto sim
(then moved)
- ir not compatible with other phones
(except vCard ...what for?)

This phone is definitely great.
Advantages :
- VERY easy to use
- Very stable and sensitive to signal
- nearly all the functions you dream about
- one of the only phones to sync with Outlook AND Lotus Notes (sync your meetings at work ;)
Drawbacks :
- poor games catalogue
- its not a megapixel phone ;)
- it does not play MP3 files
But it is much cheaper than a P900...

Themotive of my E-mail is that I've seen your last comment on to the net, asking concretely about which phone would be better, if Alcatel ot735 or Motorola v525.
Well the thing is that I've the same problem, and just a pai of day to take the decision, because i'll have to get it one of thus on monday.
The difference is that I have got to decide between Alcatel ot735 and Motorola v150.
Firts I wanted the motorola because of its style also his tape, but... asI've always had alcatel and seen yesterday a girl in the train use it, I though maybe would be better continue with Alcatel if this brand never has give me problems with its phones.
Now, I ask to you. What would you do? I'm a bit confused, really. I'd like to get the Motorola, but my firts and worst preocupation is the sound. Alcatel always has had a good quality of sound, but Motorola..as Motorola c550 no, at least this one.
Could you advice me on my decision?

Very good phone. Not such great camera quality, but good on price. Very easy to use, and has a nice selection of features.
Overall, a good phone to have.
