hi, i have installed the pc suit but now everytime i go to my web box and try and get them it says, http 404 error occured, what the hell is that? how do i get rid of the error.

Becareful, you can lost your just saved contact in your phone book if you turn off your phone after using some GSM services!!!

What do you mean by the new Firmware is out ? and how do you get it ? anyway, hope i'll be release in France soon, unless it's out already, but i guess i would have heard about it.
For Peter, if you don't have an infrared port on your comp, then you need to buy an USB infrared cable, then use Pc Suite 3/Content Mananger to transfer your stuff.

hey, does anyone know how i can transfer data from phone to computer and vice versa? do i need a cord? cause the phone has infrared but....... like my comp is brnad new i got it a couple of months ago, where is the infrared port?

hei dees..no need to buy usb cable maa..just buy in-frared if you dont have it coz its cheaper. Hey you can create your mp3 tone by your self maa..just need to install alcatel pc suite(you need to buy infrared first!!) And you can create it yourself!

i gotta agree with you, i like it very much aswell, but i miss the fact that you cant have a bigger memory, that would be really great to store full videos and mp3s.

I have the alcatel OT756 for almost a month now and i must say that this is a very good cellphone engineering work. From the tight sturdy casing, decent looks and bright blue backlighting to the notably bright colorful screen and thoughful user interface, its simply great! I have extensively used the camera and to date I have took 1,035 photos already. The images are the best in its class and may even be the best vga cam exquipped phone by far. Whether viewed from a pc monitor or commercially printed in a photo center, the pictures are crisp and true to color. The only two drawbacks I can say is the lack of feature to insert phone numbers from directory in a message or sending a phone number in the directory as a text; and second the low incoming sms tone volume bug/problem. But everything else including the java handling, voice command, voice dial, animation and video features make this phone well worth its price. It may even be the cheapest, best value colored and vga camera equipped phone in its class here in the Philippines. I just hope that the local service center would have available after sales support very soon. Once the minor bugs are fixed, this phone would be perfect!
