beshtck, 23 Nov 2012Camera settings, how do you turn off camera sound?.the only way to do it is by rooting it and getting in to the system>media>audio>ui and deleting the file 'camera click'

alcatel is the worsiest.phone I ever bought..it has short battety life,loses network,unstoppable camera sound and the worst of all is that the phone cannot charge when using the internet..nkt!!!

I love the phone. its sound is great, n megapixel arrangement is wonderful. cons :
annoying camera sound
low picture quality considering the 3.2 mp camera
music player crashes unexpectedly

This phone is way better than much more expensive phones after you do the following: 1. Root the phone, 2. Install a new larger in size SD card (min. 4Gb), 3. Create a partition on the SD card in order to be able to transfer or link most of your apps to the SD.
After I performed all the above the OT-918 is able to manage a lot of apps without lagging and I use Viber, Skype, messaging, weather channels, e-mail and internet very easily and I could say pretty fast. After the above mods It is truly a fun smart phone. As concerns the camera it's Ok for some quick day time photos but hey, for the money I bought it there is nothing out there to outperform it!

after root phone have 807mhz and the free phone memory is 77mb not 150.after root phone free some memory space,very fast WLAN speed good phone.
