Definitely not recommended.
Plus: nice handling of the two sims, cheap.
But what makes this phone completely USELESS is the low storage space combined with impossibility to remove or move to sd card the crapware which comes preinstalled.
The storage space is not enough by itself to even upgrade to the latest version the preinstalled apps, unless you root the phone (which is far from easy for this model).

hello I have just brought a phone alcatelonetouch this year. But my friends tried to unlock it and it completely went off and started asking for puk. Im using dual alcatelonetouch and my other sim card is a ''Ge org!'' which i don't know what that sim is. Can you please just sent me unlock puk of my ''Ge org!'' sim because im lost without my phone now thank you

1. How should i uninstall the initial application that was install by the manufacturer?
2. My phone is only two months old but i have just experience this unusual behavior where the phone does not lock. I have tried to change and used all the security options but none is successful.

The phone become so frendly in speed if you root and keep on managing app. by stoping unused process,deliting any unused data that keep registering after using any aplication and by monitaring data usage you will free much of its internal space giving the os operating system room to pick any infomation you need very fast thas improving ram .

now i have one it comes with two change able case mine with cyber blue and black and 2gb of sd card.
working fine but you have to install some apps 1st thing should install Apps2sd then you can install any thing you like and if you want to more ram then just root it and after install root app delete and then delete office suite and disable some like live wallpapers etc. camera is not good.
phone always have low memory problem but if you manage it then good
i have on skype old version(you can find on google), viber, trapster, teamviewer, ucbrowser, nfs shift, tubemate is working. skype and viber, tango only voice call from speaker phone or handfree.
Battery timing is not good around 30 hours. but i think good fone for low budget users like me.
