does anyone else have a problem with popping sounds coming from the back of the phone?

my phone had 20% of its touchscreen surface unresponsive which is technically " dead".
1. At first it was 10% but now creeping to bottom of Right Hand surface impacting the ability to accept call when it cannot move the touch cursor to accept button.
2. When typing keyboard, I cannot keyd in chars , , . Does anyone knows why? and how to repair this faulty? My phone sometimes use car charger to charge battery. Does this impact the touch screen? Thanks for giving f/back.

Actually this phone is for light use purposes bcos of its lower ram specs less than 1GB. It will become heavy & freezed if too many apps downloaded. To release some
1. save/move downloaded apps frm phone storage to mounted device (ext sdcard)
take note - std apps provided in the phone cannot be moved
2. always scan virus
3. always clean history & cache

I have lost the sms function on my Alcatel one touch 993 mobile and can only use it on phone and can't use txt.Can it be restored I may have accidently deleted it somehow.

Had this handset since one year now. For its price, The only drawbacks are the weak volume on headsets and the video capture which is pixellated sometimes (duplicated frames). I got many android handsets from many manufacturers. Built quality is good, not exceptionnal. Wifi signal drops sometimes. The phone hanged only 3 times since bought. Many apps tested. For a cortex A5, it does the job. Alcatel (TCL!) rocks.

this phone is very durable when it comes to quality, the features is very friendly and the camera excelent and the sound is good,,, of course the features of this phone is depending on the phone price,,, so if your looking for a perfect phone or gadget,, buy a very expensive phone so all the you want ,, is there,, in high ends model of alcatel,,

Owned this phone for 9 months now and by far.. This is the most disappointing and waste of money I've ever had. At first the phone was ok but after a few weeks all the problems appear like Hang ups, auto reboot, weak mobile network signal, Lags, and application errors even though it always update.
Furthermore, this phone has the most poorest sound quality ever. Over all review this phone is a waste of money and brain cells of the inventors. What a total reap off!! I wish I hadn't bought this device!

Quite agree this phone is a waste of effort developing it. Totally fed up, and locked in with my Provider for another frustrating 18 months. 'One Touch'?? Kick ionto touch more like. What a heap of ........

when i make internet call from viber or facebook or skyb it work with loud speaker yet

Freeze, hang, lag n etc..very2 dissappointed

It comes free with my plan & it works great for what it is. It is not the most powerful mobile in the planet but it works basically. Android apps needed updating time & time again therefore it does contribute to some of the issues like "freeze", "hang" so it does need some rebooting.

This phone is crap it always has issues opening apps like facebook or youtube, it never opens the kindle app. Then the do you want to report the issue screen comes up, it says that's broken as well and closes. Internet always closes for no reason it forever vibrates when writing and I haven't found the option to turn that off.
