Vins, 30 Jan 2013hey how did u update to ics in india ?? Wat r ur reviews abt ics ??ICS on this phone is great. It speeds him up a little bit, and better uses hardware resources then gingerbread.

yes the camera is not that good either in gb and on the french ics. problem is autofocus but there is a good solution and it owrkes very well download this
Camera ZOOM FX v4.1.1 apkmania.com.apk from googleplay. and use it instaed of the stock camera. and you get very good quality photos.
anyone have problem with gps? this is my only problem the gps wont lock. please any help...

does anyone have problem with the gps. it wont lock.
it locks as soon as i start the satnv then disconnect and cant lock agin says looking for gps signal. the problem is there with gingerbread and also the french ics. please does anyone have a solution

2 problems with my OT-995:
1. It restarts on it's own. Less times in the begining but now it's often
2. It has a screen resolution problem wich can only be observed while using the camera or when it's a one color background ( like when I open Skype or GooglePlay it can only be seen in the downside area close to the 4 android buttons). It's like an old monitor flashing up and down, very annoying.

This website: http://www.alcatelot995.com/ seems to have it all explained quite well and also has links to download all files needed to upgrade your Alcatel OT-995 phones to ICS. I personally use the French version, camera in ICS is poor but think it was the same with GB. The French rom is fine, I uninstalled some apps but works stable so far.

I already downloaded the french ics, there is a web site on the net which eplains everything quite easily.If you want info and the page I will give to you, but I am thinking of going back to gingerbread, somehow ICS is slow on my alcatel.

I even tried updating it a few more times, thinking maybe it will u... moreI got the same problem here... i guess we gonna have to wait a little bit longer for the ICS to came out to Macedonia :( If any one knows how we can fix our problem please let us know...

I ve got this phone for like a 1 month and only thing i can say is its awesome. I upgrade it to 4.0.4 ics and im suprised. It cost a lot of less money then other phones and give the same quality. But i dont like camera because it focus all the time. Other than that i reapat its AWESOME. I wanted iPhone 4 but this is real choice. :)
