Does this device support USB otg?
For those who dont know what this is this enables you to plug in any usb device with an otg cable.Im asking this becouse i already have one from my previous device.

Alcatel OT-995 is the best smartphone from Alcatel, and can be compared with Sony Xperia Arc S in the same category, just because it is much better phone, even that Sony has much higher price. Alcatel have a same tipe of display, but bigger, better processor, slot for SD card ....., Sony have a BRAND!

Ever since i updated my Sony Tablet S to ICS ive been plagued by Wi-fi connection problems, while my Alcatel and my wife's (she has the OT-990) has no problem connecting, apart from router issues, and both are on Gingerbread. And ICS is no big deal anyway, its Jellybean that offers real performance and i kinda doubt we are going to get it when ICS update has been so long comming.

AnonD-62793, 13 Jul 2012Hi friends i have problem with my phone my cousnt have too, the (WLAN) wifi is work only 10-1... morechange security type on your router. I had mine on wpa2 and it didn't work. after that it works fine.

zxm, 24 Jul 2012excelent phone, but is it upgradable to icecream, did someone know how can it be upgraded?There will be an Ics update as Alcatel stated but we still dont know when.I think they are doing the same thing as Sony with the NXT series.

does any one have random restart problem with this phone? I purchased it at reliance digital, India, known as Reconnect phone here.

Anonymous, 28 Jun 2012it is priced at rs.13999 and available at reliance digital stores as reconnect phone. I purchased the reconnect phone at reliance digital, but it restarts randomly. Took to service center but not solved by OS reset. Now they want to change the mother board.it restarts say 10 times in 24hrs even if left idle. RELIANCE - RECONNECT - RESTARTS ...:)

(WLAN) wifi is work only 10-1... moreWi-fi connection says connecting then disconnects. I solved it by the following ways.
1. Go to settings>W & n>Wi-fi settings> Go to advanced settings buy pressing function button on handset & goto advanced settings.Check use static IP.
2. Give IP address & fill all the details as per your router settings.
3. Turn on wi-fi & click connect (put password).
4. If it still doesn't connect the go to router settings thru your Internet explorer (by typing //192.168.1.1/, Admin..admin..) add the mobiles MAC address (u can see it in page where u did the IP settings). Connect again.
5. Wi-fi works fine now

StefMacedonia, 26 Jul 2012I have the same problems i think the problem is in tutter we need buy new :/ you dont have to buy new router right away. you can go to the store, for example amc, and try it there and if it works than buy it, or in some caffe or some place where they have free wireless so you can try if it works on their wi-fi. about the router settings i know hoe to get there but i dont understand how to configure it, maybe there is some option that has to be turned on or off, but i dont know that. hope you will fix this problem
