jes_516, 31 Aug 2007it was my first cp on the year 2000, during that time, it's the newest, sleek design cp for me... moremy first phone too,in 2000. It was subventioned by Turkcell, gsm operator. That time only the prepaid gsm sim card costed 35 liras. But if you buy these phone with the sim card,these two costed 39 liras.

I used to have this fone way back year 2003, so its a lil bit embarassing to use this in crowd, i used to text my dad to catch me up from school in the comfort room in great shyness,, LoL, now I have 3510, and im planning on getting a nokia 6233, LoL

Oooo.. I rememeber this phone :))) Kinda stupid when you think to put a graphic display and even so the phone will display only 3 lines of test at any given time :))))

Excellent phone! It's still in my use. I bought it 5 yrs back and it still going fine. Battery too still working fine. Even the belt holder is still fine and in good shape. I'm in love with Alcatel DB !!!

Get this: we use these as test phones to send sms to people with technical problems with their mobiles!!!! Its a bit of a brick and very hard to use, the best thing is that the sound quality is quite astonishing, used in noisy call centres to call people it sounds like a landline-unbelievable. For just making calls, its an excellent spare phone if you find one. Saw some in Vodaphone shops recently for £29.99 pay and go-good buy.

I don't agree with the previous opinion. The menu and the controls are actually very convenient and customizable. The phone is very nice (and the design is interesting - you either love it or hate it)
