Sugardaddy, 01 Aug 2017Built-in storage is 2GB, not 4GB. Too little for all todays apps.it has 4gb, just 2gb is used up by android.
512Mb of RAM wow! Not many Apps can be installed with that so why try to make out it's got 4Mb?
i buy it in indonesia the 8GB version, it works well. the only problem is the TFT screen is ugly in vertical angle 4/10
I've resently flashed my pixie to the original firmware. And now it is showing only 512 kb of ram instead of 1 gig like its suppose to, anyone has any idea why
AnonD-340754, 29 May 2017Hi, everyone, I have the Alcatel 4034x too. But find. Two major problems. I can,t receive or s... moreGoogle voice would be my suggestion. I've seen others talk about APN settings being the root of this problem.
It developed charging problems after 4 months and stopped working in the fifth month. Very bad expedience!!
Hi, everyone, I have the Alcatel 4034x too. But find. Two major problems. I can,t receive or send text messages. Keep getting message, messaging has stopped unexpectedly. ? Driving me mad. No idea why this us happening. Can anyone help. Please 😤
I've got the 2MB version which is, occasionally, irritating; the 4MB would've been better.
But.... for 25 quid it's a useful piece of kit, and one which I'm not going to shed any tears over if I crash and b####r it up (as my previous phone!).
Got the one with 3mp camera, 512mb ram and 2gb memory. I love it for the most part, it' pretty fast and everything works like a charm, perfect phone for someone who doesn't need much. I have only one problem, not sure if it's faulty with my only or generally with this model.
The 3g signal is very often dropping to no bars at all, even tho for the most part it is decent. It's not too much of a problem, because it still has enough signal for people to call me and if it doesn't have good enough signal for quality call, it switches to 2g which is always full. It's just bothering me, even tho it doesn't give me any problems...
as a sales person, never recommend this phone.
everytime sold this phone people come back to returned or some issues
Both of it's cameras are pretty decent in normal light conditions, you can take a good picture or shoot a good video on a cloudy day. I love front flash. CONS: It only has 2 GB of internal storage, and its system apps waste about 1.6 GB. Just crazy. Of course, you can fix it a little by disabling some apps.
And something really important: There are two apps (weirdly, they're system apps), Facebook App Manager and Facebook blah blah, I don't remember and you just CAN'T uninstall them. They're really suspicious, so just clear their data every once in a while and it'll be fine. And about the storage problem, even if you disable apps, because of Android marshmallow, you can't move apps to your SD card.
Other than that, it's really good and I definitely suggest you to buy it.
Don't get this.
It's ok for a backup phone.
Recommend getting cm13 on this, alcatels os is ugly
the 8gb version might be ok, but 4gb is very bad, always running out of space, and i cant make the sd card work
Worst phone ever . not better than pixy 3 why no flash on camera and why are there some batteries not charging waste of a $100.00 upgraded phone? My ass

I bought the pixi one touch 3 5 inch I love it , its a bit slow , but just want a basic phone with a little front camera , not really a phone person
If you are thinking of getting this phone, I would definitely recommend spending a bit more on the 8gb model, as even if you are not much of an app user or have an sd card your internal will soon fill up with texts and photos and videos on he 4gb model and it will get tiresome deleting these things, I know as I have the phone myself.
rabs, 17 Jul 2016I like the size, most of the specs and having Android 6.0
So for now I'm happy with my purcha... moreIt might be a bit late to respond to your post but I have found a few phones that meet your criteria. The best one is probably the plum gator 6, but that doesn't have lte if you want it, and the design might not be to your taste. It does have a good main camera and battery though, which does make it better than the others, arguably. One with a sleeker design and lte connectivity is the micromax vdeo 1. It has a worse main camera than the aforementioned phone at 5mp, the other one having an 8mp main camera. It does have a better selfie camera though at 2mp, the other being 1.3. The last phone is the unnecto Quattro V, which is really the worst of both worlds, so I would recommend you choose one of the first 2.
Anyway, I hope I was helpful, if a bit long-winded.
