When I go to the Alcatel site it says Mobile Upgrade S 4.2.3 Setup.rar and not 4.3 or 4.3.2

Be wise,alacatel use weak quadcore mediatek only,go for lumia 630 Nokia,they use snapdragon 400 quadcore no lag quality phone,and very cheap price,with good cam even without flash!

krish, 29 Jan 2015will popc9 can be updated to kitkat and lollipop for lolypop in candy store, but for kit kat they say not in alcatel program for updating . let see could happend something in future.

Is really firmware upgrade? 4.3.2? you can upgrade to 4.2.3 this is also known as the (4.3) with a program that is on the official website of Samsung. download and install on the computer. has instructions on how to install. I think the phone should be off. I have not tried this because the difference is small only in bluetooth, which is faster and uses less energy and a couple of small little things but nothing much just a small upgrade.HERE

Constant, 29 Jan 2015How can I edit the Power Saving Mode?Power Saving Mode - Pull down on the screen and you have saving mode and ultimate saver, press to activate.with saving mode activate functions by choice. with the ultimate saver, works as an ordinary phone without android, and this choice is to save a battery if it is at the end. certainly can use this option in every situation for extra saving battery.

ren, 29 Jan 2015i bought this alcatel pop c9 last day.but i feel dissappointed because the battery so quick t... more1, go to setting ,more, mobile networks,data connections, here is your provider name, you have on and off...set on to work.
2, setting data usage (your provider name ) so on top screen ,left side overview , right side provider name click. now mobile data on ...here you can see data usage cycle and you can set cycle per month and restrict of data usage to your limit ...say mine is 300mb gratis ,so i limit to 300mb. now check google search down on screen touch to see if there is restrict on data because here can disable data to use only wi-fi.
3. battery usage , this is interesting moment and it depend of user, but if you use permanently then can drain battery for a several h. so 5.5'' screen +android,o.s , this mean portable pc + strong user the result is clear...Now a new phone means new toy and all day you're playing, so it was with me, but the time when interest in little drops, then everything is fine. battery do not emptying completely when the 15% put in charge. have nice day.

Did you tried it throughout alcatel site on http://www.alcatelonetouch.com/global-en/products/smartphones/pop_c9.html#.VMgdV6K3PXY and have you got as final result android 4.3.2 or you stayed on android 4.2.2. Thanks a lot.
