Samsung Android Rumors

Alleged photos that showcase the metal chassis of Samsung Galaxy S6 made the rounds online. Samsung’s next Android smartphone flagship is expected to debut in the first quarter of this year - a launch during CES is highly unlikely at this point.

The photos reveal an all-metal body with cutouts, which are meant to accommodate the camera of the smartphone, its various antennas, and possibly its loudspeaker. The images are in line with a recent report, which suggested that Samsung Galaxy S6 will be aluminum-clad and with curved screen. The latter is yet to be confirmed.

Purported specs of Samsung Galaxy S6 include Exynos 7420 or Snapdragon 810 chipset, 3GB of RAM, and 5.5” QHD display. Recently, the upcoming handset was spotted on was spotted on Zauba - an India import tracking website.

Codenamed Project Zero, Samsung Galaxy S6 is expected to mark a significant departure from its predecessor in terms of design. The latest leak surely points in this direction - the chassis in the photos doesn’t look like any of the Galaxy S family members of old. Actually, it falls in line with the likes of Samsung Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5.
