Apple

Apple today announced that it will be holding an event on Tuesday, March 8 at 10:00 AM PST.

The event will be pre-recorded and will be streamed on Apple's website and YouTube.

The March 8 event, titled 'Peek Performance.', is expected to showcase a new iPhone SE model. This new model is rumored to have the same design as the current model but with faster processor, improved cameras, and 5G.

Also expected to be announced at this event is an updated iPad Air. The current generation model was launched back in 2020. The new model should feature a faster processor and 5G. It is rumored to ship with iOS 15.4, which will allow unlocking the device with a face mask.

While some rumors also suggest new Mac models to be announced with updated Apple Silicon, there is not enough information available at the present to corroborate that.

Apple could very well give us a peek at the unannounced Apple Silicon Mac Pro (which would explain the title), with a proper launch some time later this year. It would be on par with the company's previous announcement of transitioning all of its computers to its own silicon by the end of 2022 but we will just have to wait and see if that happens.

Right, myself my goal is to try and keep a phone for 4-5 years from when it was released, so keeping an XR until the 15 comes out is completely reasonable in my opinion. I agree with you though, original iPods are surely not "vintage", when...

Yeah, I definitely wouldn't consider the XR to be ''ancient'' either since it's only 3 and a half years old, even if there has been 3 successors to it (vanilla 11, 12 and 13). I would consider it to be a bit old though, ...
