Apple macOS

Apple has just announced that it's holding a launch event next Monday, on October 30. That's the day before Halloween, and the company couldn't help tie the two together: the event tagline is "Scary fast".

A very reliable source recently predicted the late October timeframe for Apple next Mac-focused event, and so this is that. We assume we'll all be scared by how fast the latest Macs are.

As you can see from the invite above, the event starts at 5:00 pm PT, which is 8:00 pm in New York, 1:00 am on October 31 in London, 2:00 am on October 31 in Paris and Berlin, and 5:30 am on October 31 in India.

As for what to expect specifically, the rumor mill has been talking about a refreshed 24" iMac and a new MacBook Pro, most likely once again in two sizes (14" and 16"). The new computers are probably going to be powered by Apple's M3 chip, which is where "Scary fast" should come in.
