My iPad2 has become slower during the last years, but fully functional after updates.
However, after having installed the last version in march 2016,the unit can neither be activated nor accessed via iTunes. "The server could not be reached" is displayed. Apple support said that Apple is trying to solve the problem, no result for 3 weeks. Do anyone know how to resolve this?
I have an $800 brick that says Hello in every language. I does a really cool trick and pretends to activate, but does not. I have tried every suggestion on the internet, even downgrading different iOS updates. My brick has very valuable data that I cannot afford to wipe. I pray Apple will have mercy on us loyal lowlife old-timer iPad 2 users and provide a fix update.
