nikhil, 12 Mar 2012Next I pad would be 0.0025℅ thinner would be named I pride 5g Nope. It will be called iPad.
Roger, 11 Mar 2012Not really dude, It will just show more pixels on screen, Unless you watch HD videos because i... moreGoogle this. Been a mobile browsing fan. I hardly consume 100mb monthly on my old 240x320 pix phone monthly. Got an iPhone 3G an I gulp 250mb monthly obviously due to higher screen rez. Now I use an iPad 2 and I have to be cautious not to go beyond 1gig monthly. So with a screen with double iPad 2 screen, be sure to be looking at above 1.5 gig monthly with like my browsing demands optimization or not. Am an electronics engineer an am informed. Look at what happens when you open an iPhone app on the iPad. The screen is not populated and to fill up the screen the iPad requires more resolved detail meaning more data bandwidth.
OLED, 11 Mar 2012All that power and ics still stutters with u animations, does not have any talbet specific app... morelive wallpaper does indeed slows down performance, but in the newer tablets, it seems that the performance is increasing, and there is no notable lags in the newer tabs such as the infinity 700.. there isn't any significant stutters.. the reason why iPad is smoother is because it can't support live wallpaper, but stuck with static wallpaper, and the whole UI is just an app launcher, so yeah, that's why.. don't forget that we have widgets as well.. i don't think iOS devices can pull the same performance as now if they have live wallpaper and widgets.. can the new iPad run on A5 chip in the new iPad with the same performance? no, because they still need quad core GPU to process 4x the number of pixels, so there isn't really performance increase..
iOS apps crashes a lot of times as well, but users are not notified, there is no pop up saying that apps has crashed, so you people just think maybe you didn't correctly tap the app launcher, or accidentally pressed the home button.. yeah, apple cover up these mistakes/bugs..
and there is a section for tablet-only apps, with higher resolution support.. and phone apps can still be used in tablets, although SOME might have limitations such as widgets.. but can your iPhone apps run on iPads? hhhmmm..
i think iOS devices are good, but there are so much limitations that iOS fanatics are in denial about, or at least won't own up to.. i understand there are limitations in android too, and i admit those, but for those made-up disadvantages, give me concrete proofs before opening up your mouth..
Anonymous, 10 Mar 2012You obviously have no idea how incredible this screen is and how huge this news is to various ... moreYes, Apple bought the rights if this screen tech from 2 Japanese developers and manufacturers. One of them is Sharp. Apple never does research and produces their own tech. They buy them.

AnonD-18025, 12 Mar 2012I can't find it saying HTML5 anywhere in the specs, please check for me!iOS has the best HTML5 support on the market.
Latest reports indicate ios devices run HTML5 three times faster than Android.
iPad already sold out ahead of launch due to overwhelming demand.
Anonymous, 12 Mar 2012What? iOS devices have best html5 support in the market.I can't find it saying HTML5 anywhere in the specs, please check for me!
What?!!! HTML (Safari) browser only?
It should have been HTML5!
If it is not HTML5 browser, I will stick to Galaxy tablet, although HTML browser but with adobe flash support.
For me it's either, HTML5 or HTML with web flash player. Other than that, forget it.
Anonymous, 11 Mar 2012ffs man what does the screen have to do with the cellular data usage??? stop saying bullshitYou do of course realise that a phone browser automatically downloads lower quality pictures for most websites so as to use less data? On a screen of such high pixel density it cannot afford to do this because it would make the images far too small and/or blurry.
