Apple iPadOS Tablets Rumors

All the iPad Air models Apple has launched until now came with screens smaller than 11". However, DigiTimes claims the Cupertino-based tech giant is working on a bigger iPad Air, with the display measuring 12.9" diagonally.

Citing "industry sources," the publication also claimed that this 12.9" iPad Air will pack an LCD instead of a mini-LED panel, which is what the 12.9" iPad Pro has.

Recent rumors claimed Apple is working on two iPad Air models with identifiers J537 and J538. One could be the 12.9" iPad Air, with the other being an 11" model. More details about these versions should surface in the coming months.

How is LCD a downgrade? Until burn-in free OLEDs exists or are able to be repaired without total screen replacement, LCDs will be here to stay.
