Apple iPad mini (2019) - user opinions and reviews
So I got Mini 5 after the 6th gen iPad. The only downside is the size if you’re considered about that. Otherwise A12 is pretty good. I upgraded both of my devices to iPad OS beta 4. And it’s cool as ever. Got mine for 33k.

Not enough RAM in this tablet. My 8 Fantasy Premier League Chrome Tabs will keep refreshing for sure.

If you... moreI basically just use my iPad mini to RDP back to the office computer and do my work remotely. Haven’t tried doing so with keyboard and mouse, but just using my fingers r not that complicated and I’m able to finish quick tasks efficiently.
But I understand what you mean, office work wise, surface might be a better choice. I was tempted to get the surface book 2 coz it can go slate mode, but considering it’s a 13.3” that’s too big for me (I used to own the iPad Pro 12.9 and wasn’t be able to get used to)

If you are looking for something to do mostly pleasure use with I recommend and own an ipad mini for that. If you are looking for something for work plus some pleasure use, nothing beats the Surface w/ Microsoft Office. I do find that the surface is limited for some apps that I have been looking for, so if you have some specific applications in mind i would research if you can get them for the device you are looking for.

Yes.. up to 2TB.
But i rather backup to iTunes.
Or keep at free 5GB enough, just turn off icloud backup for photo / media apps. And backup those files to NAS or other cheaper online options.

Ghh, 17 May 2019They need fast charging n better cameras! it is not made for taking photos. if you like better camera better buy the high end one or rather buy the iphone. also they did not make it fast charger to prolong the battery's life in long run. because fast charging damages battery in long run.

-Battery life is good enough for any average user
-Screen is great
-Ram is great so far (from multitasking tests)
Cons:
-iOS 12 is holding the device from doing greater productivity
-Camera is not great (But who uses an iPad for it's camera)
So far, it holds up way way better than any of the competing tablets for the price segment. i am just hoping for a great OS update that would quite possibly replace my bulky and heavy laptop.

The iPad mini 2019 is the latest iteration for the mini lineup of iPads. The device sports the most powerful chipset found on a mobile device the A12 Bionic Chip, A great 2048x1536 retina display, a 5124 mAh battery that would last all day in moderate or heavy usage. All this for (in my opinion) a great price of $399. But specs don't say everything.
The iPad mini is great for what it does. In fact, it does it in an amazingly flawless way. But you can't shake the feeling that the device could do way better. The A12 Bionic chip could do more than what is thrown at it by the iOS Operating System. We are living in an age where mobile devices (such as tablets) could possibly replace your laptops, given it's processing power. But unfortunately, you are barred from getting this level of productivity due to OS constraints.
My final verdict for this is that the iPad mini is great, it is amazingly great. But it can do way better. And rumors of the iOS 13 looks to be very promising.
Would highly suggest to buy this tablet over any android tablet of the same price segment.
