Hi, I have purchased one recently, the wifi plus cellular one. Highly satisfied with the tab till now. There is no match as far as performance is concerned.

I think it's kind of weird that they managed to make this more powerful than the regular iPad that came a year before. I still feel like Android tablets, at their best, are better. But if you are looking for a good small tablet, this is probably the best choice.

1. Can that portable router last 10 hrs?
2. iPad mini CAN be the portable router, providing internet for other wifi enabled devices you have. And it last very long.
3. 1 less item to charge and maintain.
4. Wifi Models do not have GPS. (No Maps, No Pokemon Go) etc etc.
All in all, best to always go for cellular version. It pays off long term.

Anonymous, 19 Apr 2019Available in flipkart for 35kNot sure about Flipkart, but Amazon India is selling all the 4 variants, it seems. Not interested in the SIM model as it seems to be overpriced. For me the WiFi 64 GB one is perfect. Will buy shortly.

Hi guys, I want to get one simple clarification. The WiFi plus cellular version of the ipad mini 5, which Apple is selling at a Rs 11000.00 premium in India (or, at $130 extra in USA), are they meant for calling or simply cellular data? If only for data, it is not worth paying the extra amount, I feel. The standalone WiFi version should be sufficient, if one carries a portable router. What do you think?
