This could be called a smaller version of the iPad Air. It’s superior to the mini 4 in more ways than I have time or space to write about.

Definitely a nice device.
The size is compact. Would be better to have less screen to body ratio.

Waiting next generation ipad mini, not much upgrade... moreThe mini 5 is a huge upgrade, performance-wise, over the mini 4. The display is better, with true tone. Pencil support is also nice, if you have a use case for this (I do, and I already had a pencil that I got back in 2016 with the ipad pro 9.7).
Don't hold your breath for the next ipad mini. The wait between mini 4 and mini 5 was 3.5 years.

Got this Beast Recently. Amazing Pubg gaming Experience.Movies and watching is really good. A12 chip is so good and worth the upgrade for old users. Its my second ipad after Air 2. Charging is fast as well. Best Tablet ever. Using this more than my phone. Size is the best selling point. I'm an android user but this one got me hooked with great experience. Enjoying it and would highly recommend and its better on wallet than crazy expensive latest Iphone11 series.

Apple should make its ipad mini screen bezel less in their upcoming ipad mini device so that we could get a bigger display within its existing dimension.

Please I have a question for PUBG players on this device, does any one have the ability to enable hdr + extreme FPS mode on their iPad mini 5? Mine’s maxed at Ultra, which is weird cuz extreme was available in v0.13.5..

If it almost never leaves your home, then I would just get WiFi. If you are going to take it out of your house often and you want to access the internet in a place where there isn’t necessarily WiFi (like camping) then the WiFi + LTE is a good option if you’re willing to pay for it.

So I got Mini 5 after the 6th gen iPad. The only downside is the size if you’re considered about that. Otherwise A12 is pretty good. I upgraded both of my devices to iPad OS beta 4. And it’s cool as ever. Got mine for 33k.
