With regards to reading a standard single page spread of a Marvel comics which tablet aspect ratio would be ideal: a 16:10 or a 4:3 like the iPad Mini 4?
Talking about the latest iOS 12.1 (features, etc.) and especially the Files app which platform/device do you think has a better, more open & bit flexible file management system: an iPad Mini with iOS or a Google Chromebook with Chrome OS? (in relation and comparison with the more robust & more flexible Windows File Manager way).
Count yourself lucky Anon with the 1st gen iOS9 ipad. You can still run all those great games that won't work in iOS10 because they aren't 64bit.
I have a 6 years old 1st Gen iPad mini and I am very satisfied with it, on every aspect. But sadly, it can only run iOS 9. Is this 4th gen worth to buy considering that its pretty old as well, but at least I can get the latest apps. And what about iOS 12 throttling? I mostly use it for writing, photoshop, lightroom and do some iMovie. Is worth the today's price?
Gino76, 05 Aug 2018Need your opinion guys. Between the iPad mini 4 and a common Android 7.1.1 tablet out there... more I love my iPad mini. I used it for entertainment only. I wish that they make the new version of iPad mini. Because it is comfortable and easy to use.
Anonymous, 21 Jun 2018How's the battery life of the cellular version? Can I do text messaging on this unit? Planning... moreNo you can’t. Just got an iPad mini yesterday and one thing that I’ve noticed is that the “cellular” part of the device is primarily for internet usage. You can’t make a regular phone call and regular text message (only iMessage will work) as it doesn’t even have the phone icon or the app itself.
bob, 22 Aug 2018ipad mini 4 has great audio and great to useThat's a very subjective way of describing it. Care to explain and elaborate more?
Need your opinion guys.
Between the iPad mini 4 and a common Android 7.1.1 tablet out there (say Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus) which do you think has a better sounding & clearer / louder audio? (I heard/read that the Tab 4's speakers somewhat sound mono and as if someone has a clogged nose. True?)
And in terms of split screen multitasking which one you think supports more apps in split screen mode and one that supports drag n drop better e.g. dragging photos from the Photos app to Gmail, etc.?
Gino76, 06 May 2018Hey guys. I would like to ask about the iPad Mini 4.... Between this and the Samsung Galaxy... moreI would say the Ipad mini4 with 128 gb does everything I am even using one games music watching all he latest movies and downloading music too an I still have plenty space on it I recommend it
MARTIN, 21 Jun 2018I have both the iPad Mini 4 and the Tab S2.
My verdict is as follows. Both are good devices a... moreBit dissapointed with Samsung not updating the Tab S2. I'm still on an old Nougat 7.0 and January '18 security update. If it has Oreo 8.0 And Samsung Experience 8.5 then i would keep it.
I also noticed the speakers are near abysmal. For streaming media such as Youtube or the odd movie it is really bad.
Would you agree the iPad mini 4 has better speakers?

Gino76, 06 May 2018Hey guys. I would like to ask about the iPad Mini 4....
Between this and the Samsung Galaxy... moreI have both the iPad Mini 4 and the Tab S2.
My verdict is as follows. Both are good devices and i have been able to do every single task i have needed to do on each device. Battery life is also fine for me - and this is 2.5 years later. I operate them on WiFi mostly though when i am on the road i turn on LTE and the battery life is not too affected.
As for fingerprint sensor i haven't had any issue for either device.
FINAL: I settled for the Tab S2 to be my media device to stream HD movies, and leisure use. It feels smoother and the screen res. and output is definitely better for my eyes. And not forgetting that i can juice up the battery at anytime using the same cable which i also use for my S7 phone.
The iPad is for my emails and office work as i trust iOS encryption over Android anytime.
Both are powerful devices that will do the job required in equal measure for a different price of course.
Hello, this was also my predicament since a couple months now.... i ended up buying this ipad mini 4 over the Tab S2. however it was not because of anything to do with the tabs themselves... it was an issue of trusting its originality and also the price. i am in trinidad and we dont have apple stores here. a friend of mine went to the U.S this past week and i got the ipad mini 4 in best buy for waaayyyy less than i was getting it for here. only 1 place here had the s2 and it was a bit expensive, so i chose the mini 4. although looking at the specs, if u need alot of storage space the mini 4 128gb will be the best 1 for you... hope this helps
Hey guys. I would like to ask about the iPad Mini 4....
Between this and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 which do you guys think make for great buy in terms of overall better specs and general performance? Faster fingerprint scanner ? Louder & clearer speakers?
