Had my ipad 4 checked just recently in Apple store bcoz the wifi & Bluetooth won't worked...paid for the diagnostics which is very expensive coz its out of warranty and all they did is reset the unit... And what's their recommendation, replacement the god damn unit... they can't open it to replace any of the parts, so its means it's freaking "DISPOSABLE!!!". what a disappointment!!!

With regards to reading a standard single page spread of a Marvel comics which tablet aspect ratio would be ideal: a 16:10 or a 4:3 like the iPad Mini 4?

Talking about the latest iOS 12.1 (features, etc.) and especially the Files app which platform/device do you think has a better, more open & bit flexible file management system: an iPad Mini with iOS or a Google Chromebook with Chrome OS? (in relation and comparison with the more robust & more flexible Windows File Manager way).

Count yourself lucky Anon with the 1st gen iOS9 ipad.You can still run all those great games that won't work in iOS10 because they aren't 64bit.

I have a 6 years old 1st Gen iPad mini and I am very satisfied with it, on every aspect. But sadly, it can only run iOS 9. Is this 4th gen worth to buy considering that its pretty old as well, but at least I can get the latest apps. And what about iOS 12 throttling? I mostly use it for writing, photoshop, lightroom and do some iMovie. Is worth the today's price?

Just got an iPad mini yesterday and one thing that I’ve noticed is that the “cellular” part of the device is primarily for internet usage. You can’t make a regular phone call and regular text message (only iMessage will work) as it doesn’t even have the phone icon or the app itself.
