ooops! 0ne more thing i didnt like about the n95. a2dp is "flaky." wrap ur hand around the handset, and youll have a "bad" connection. hell, even if you just put it in your pocket it sometimes breaks off!
oh, and also, one more d0wnside to having an all-in-one device is that s0metimes itll "freeze" if u have too many appz open and the only way to get it back is to reboot it by removing the battery and putting it back in! small price to pay tho for having everything crammed in your pocket. lol.
Also, in a minute or sometime's less i can lock onto the satelite for gps. A2dp is also good.
yeh i noticed no lens cover.. that will pick up scratches easily.. my current phone has scratches all over the lens.. so lens cover is a must.!
how much did u pick up ur N95 for ?
The touch screen on the iphone is without question quite impressive, but it is lacking in the feature's that the n95 has. Plus there have been issue's of missed call's in loud place's. Not enough volume.
I have the first one but i have a 4gb card which it accept's even though the spec's say 2 gb. It might even take a 6gb card. The n95 8gb has more ram, which is a good thing, but the camera cover had to be taken away to make way for the better battery. plus it's black if that suit's you, and no card slot on the 8gb,all internal memory. Personally i'am happy without moving to the 8gb. Picture's when printed out are really good. gps is also good.
ah ok maybe thats it then thanks.. there are two tho.. The 8GB and the normal one, which 1 do u have ?
I guess the people who owned the iphone but didn't like it and got rid of it also have preconceived idea's about it!!!!!

more like, most of these statements dissing the iphone is true. i sold the iphone, i had to tell ppl lies on this phone to get them to buy it because they taught it was amazing, but it isn't. so what if it has internet? that's just about the only thing apple knows how to do. also, the iphone is just commercial thats it. no real professional would buy this p.o.s. because its not worth it. its speed can get beat by baby's typing, and she doesn't even know how to type. it is simply only design and the rest is trash, its not really a phone. i mean what's the point if you can only get it in the USA or Canada?
iphone= pay to get most of them unlocked, then it will relock if you update your firmware thru itune's. iphone = no3g, no auto focus and no flash, 2meg camera, missed call's in noisy places, mp3 player not even nearly as loud as the n95, no voice dialing, battery can't be changed on your own, must be sent away to apple, no built in gps, no a2dp for bluetooth stereo headphone's, no bluetooth transfer. mobile review did a test showing the n95 get's 60 minute's more talk tlme than the iphone.
there's nothing wrong with radio. the only thing 'old' about radio except the time it's been around. and radio would be nice for a phone like iphone. just imagine...
yea the multi touch screen is gorgeous right but i wouldn't get too excited about the iphone 2. It's always going to have comprimised features. All apple products always do.
The ipod didnt do anythign except play music (yeah i know thats the point but it didnt go beyond that)
the iphone doesnt do anything. you'd think it might have a radio considering its a music phone.
king kong, i agree with you totally i mean they should fix atleast the software part from there side like mms, video rec, etc and i think even the 3g part can be fixed with a software update but i am not sure, but the user interface is like no phone has it, till date nokia is trying to get the series 60 fromat touch sensitive but its just bull in front of apple, but with nokia you dont worry abt the features, but i still think they will not be able to make the user interface as good as apple.
Honestly, the only thing great about the Iphone is the user experience.. which is the 'touch screen'.. besides that.. NOTHING.. other phones beats its features since 3 years ago...
i totally agree. u shouldn't expect too much too soon.
i would get 1 too but its way expensive in Guyana (approx. GYD$160,000 that's USD$800!!) in short, it would take almost 3 months full pay to do so
if you want something thats stable and reliable AND "flashy" at the same time, go with the iPhone.
if youre looking for something that takes AGES to open up your music player, camera application, crashes and hangs CONSTANTLY, and also takes forever to get a "lock" on your GPS location - buy an n95.
oh, and dont forget the HORRIBLE 4 hour battery life.
Mark it depends what you want from a phone. The Nokia N95 is superior in every single way. The iphone is fashion and nothing else. If you look good buy the N95, but if you don't look good, and want to get attention buy the iphone or a porsche.
