try an iphone and your see what all the fuss is about, usability is 2nd to none, all the functions are perfectly made, the screen is made of a very strong glass, very much stronger than most of todays phones with the usual plastic screen.
Huge man it is huge i don't get it what is so different about the i phone? the camera is 2 mp its memory is found in other mobiles to and it is a big big trobule for any boody it can brake easly because of the glass scren oh my god what is so special about this dam thing?
Can anyboody tell me?
had nokia n95 before this i phone .it was the best but cannot even compete with this work of art iphone. superb, and it does not freeze. have had it since launch.so good my mrs and kids got upgraded to iphone too. roll on iphone 2
N95 is so cool.....why, it's awful?
doesn't alway charge, when power plugged in
Have to reboot regularly
slider activates in pocket, ah! no battery
battery life is POOR! even with it's power management.
Symbian, bah, 6 options for something that should take 2
maps, 10 mins for a connection to gps yawn!
or extortionage rates from service provider.
Maps kills battery like nothing else
I haven't even used an iphone but I prefer it. I'll let you guys figure out why!
I actually own an iphone and have had it since the launch it never freezes and i personally think it is the best handset i have ever owned.
I have now had 3 of these and all have been faulty, lost all confidence with them and gone back to my w800i.../cry
At Symbian they are so embarassed lately that they no longer post how many systems are getting installed...
so we wait and see when the operating systems of the future sell five million units in five monts like OS X
Exactly what Nick said!!
OSX is here BUT it aint the future, all you OSX, Linux/Google Android fanboys have ths wild imagination that these new OSs are the future when they are not even past maturity, they maybe stable but thats it, Symbian S60 has now got Demand Paging with increased Multitasking, RAM, and less battery consumption (about 25% less consumption) which all has improved stability. Yet you OSX AND LINUX fanboys are saying your OSs are the future? DREAM ON! Symbian S60 is here to stay and is now going Touchscreen.
Nokia is the past and samsung the future? I had the samsung d900 quad band while my wife alway's had nokia. We live in a basement both use fido and i noticed my phone call's alway's got dropped on my d900, but my wife could talk on her nokia no problem, so i switched to nokia n95. nokia has stronger quad band. It would be interesting to see how strong the quad band is for picking up reception in my basement on the iphone. it is already known that the ringer isn't loud enough.
You don't know what Symbian s60 v3.2 is cooking up, so don't be runnin your mouth just yet. Come back when the i-Poo. . . I mean i-Phone can video record, not need iTunes and when it can transfer files to another device via Bluetooth, THEN we will talk REAL Multimedia Device.
I-Phone doesnt deserve to be compared to a N95, rather compare i-Phone to the 5yearold Nokia 7250i or hey to the 6630 even or 1600 LOL!
BUT OSX has become the number one mobile operating system and that is the future !
LOL so easy to wind people up on this thread!
Nokia are the past. Apple, SE, and Samsung are the future. Stop banging on about the N95 its ancient!
N95 didn't get gadget of the year. T3 and Stuff mag rate iPhone 5 stars and N95 3 stars.
Plus N95 has shocking battery life. 2 people I know struggle to get 3 hours usage out of it!
We all know that Nokia has a large market share of consumer phones, but the future appears to be different in the internet phones market
June 2006 : Europe : T-Mobile launches commercial High Speed Downlink Data Packet Access (HSDPA) networks, in Germany, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands, thus enabling faster and better mobile services to consumers.
TMobile is the Number one network in Germany and they know the Business.
Something I do not get A failure in Europe ?
Why is then Vodafone taking to court Tmobile ?
Not only a success but at a much more rewarding price level
in Euros and not failing dollars
Lol! I knw all of that! We have had it for the one and a half years. From what ive heard N95 is doing well in the USA, after all NOKIA have over 35% Marketshare in the mobile market.
