Yu may not adjust the volume through your shirt with the Iphone,
but you can do this :
" Apple could blow away competitors like Nokia and Sony-Ericsson for years to come if they were not tied down to these exclusive deals," said Mike Demmick of the London-based cellphone market research firm Dialed-In.
Despite the mounting evidence, Apple and its carrier partners have been doing everything to fight anything remotely threatening these exclusive deals. These exclusive arrangements represent an extraordinary revenue opportunity for a cellphone maker. To win exclusive sales rights, carriers are paying Apple up to 40%, or more than twice the industry average, of what their customers pay for the devices and their service contracts, according to various estimates from Wall Street analysts.
It appears from various estimates, not from Apple, that should Apple hit its goal of selling 10 million by the end of 2008, the exclusive deals will generate about $2 billion, or 6% of Apple's expected 2008 sales.
AND THAT IS WONDERFUL MUSIC FOR A shareholder. never mind the volume setting on the N95 music
This phone is not not that good and has few functions.
its camera doesn't have auto focus feature and flash. thats sucks.
Bla bla bla N95 people , the reality is that the Iphone with the OSX operating system is the NUMBER ONE operating system in mobile devices on this planet today and growing.
I know it is a bitter pill to swallow but that is reality, not all the envious bull posting, meaningless.
BTW making lots of money on apple shares yesterday up 3.27% .
I have iphone with me.....iphone rocks....It's an amazing phone to have....
if i got an unlocked iphone , when the new firmwares release at feb. can i use them at my unlocked iphone , by upgrading or downgrading or at anyway ???
i have discovered a new trick with the n95. you can have it in your top shirt pocket with the slider the other way with the stop, play, forward, rewind button's exposed while listening to music and you can advance to the next song or back to the previous song all with a tap of your finger, without taking the n95 out of your pocket or looking at it. you can also adjust the volume. great while driving. i'am sure you can't do that with the i phone without looking at it. also 1 little speaker on the i phone, no volume nj3. someone asked you once how good is the volume on the i phone and your response was as good as can be expected with a tiny speaker!! i read that here on the forum!!
20.0.015. this software for the N95 really rock's!! all the opinion's i have read were all positive. can't wait to download it!!
Not bad for a new comer :
" Net Applications has issued an interesting report stating that the iPhone has quickly overtaken Microsoft's Windows Mobile as the most used mobile OS on the web "
fortunately without a decent browser, but a Safari browser
It is not a smartphone it is a mini Mac in your pocket I do not care for smart phones, they are actually stupidphones very complicated to use, and as it happens OSX is the the most used mobile operating system in the world just blown Windows mobile away...
With installer you get daily new applications available and installed in one click.
You are right it does not have a decent browser it has the best browser:
it also lacks a decent internet browser, MMS, picture messaging, more advanced bluetooth, a radio, and 3G
im sorry but what kind of smartphone doesnt let you install your own applications and isnt 3G
this is the best phone iv ever had! lacks 'amazing' camera or video recordin but WHO CARES?! especialy wen its this good lookin. lol
i have iphoone here in Calif about 3 months..And never freezing..Maybe you need talk with apple for fix or exchange...
Good for you but the market thinks different, we have FIVE Iphones and they do not freeze, maybe your state of mind is incompatible with Apple success.
it doesnt do anything revolutionary at all. And the iphone i used kept freezing up.
Apple's market share in both the computer and cell phone markets is hitting highs according to Net Applications.
Last month the Mac OS had 6.8% market share, compared to 5.39% for November 2006. This represents the highest market share in Apple's steady climb, which appears to be almost directly proportional to a slightly declining Microsoft Windows installed base.
Windows Mac OS X
Nov 2006 94.16% 5.39%
Nov 2007 92.42% 6.8%
Difference -1.74% +1.41%
In addition, Net Applications has issued an interesting report stating that the iPhone has quickly overtaken Microsoft's Windows Mobile as the most used mobile OS on the web.
We've been tracking iPhone usage since its launch. Total web browsing on the iPhone has topped the web browsing on all Windows Mobile devices combined, as this report shows. This report is a listing of the top operating system versions in use. It is not a measure of units sold, but the share of users browsing the internet with the devices. The iPhone has had a dramatic rise in usage share in its short time on the market Is this due to a better user interface? Larger screen?
You are quite naive f you do not believe that Microsoft or any other entity that has access to your digital data retains information from you, at least Apple is being upfront and honest about it.
When you go online you have no idea of how much information you release about yourself and how many government and private entities are watching you...
MMMM does it REALLY monitor personal data? What rights to privacy issues if Apple openly state they may collect personal data and credit card info? I think its an amazing machine but i am concerned about these bits of code as found by the power user and reported on gsmarena news board.
