U R wrong T, with this phone u can share files with other phones,This phone is great but only on screen!
i think it is great but it is only next to HTC Shift, i think Shift is better.
i love iphone, i only hope it will be release in Indonesia, otherwise im getting my hand on New Nokia touchscreen UI or Motorola with Google Android OS...Apple pls comee to Indonesia....
Bluetooth only for headset? :))
You can't share pictures or melodies with other phones.
Apple made revolutionary phone but remeber...only first phone with children illnesses.
Buy better LG viewty or prada, Samsung armani etc.
I am a great fan of Apple products. I own a MacBook and love to use it. Now, I am going to have an iphone this week end. One of my friend from US is getting it for me. I am so excited and counting the days to get the glimps of my iphone. I am planning to get it unlock it myself. Forgot to say that I am from India.
Though many people say that there are many flaws in iphone, but I still love it. Apple is Apple.
At this moment, no one can compare to an Iphone. The multi-touch screen made Apple elevate to the level. I'm sure that almost all the phone company is trying to come up with the same functionality and design.
Apple make the history.
This is a killer phone!Iown Tytn 11, Nokia N95 and the Iphone. It looks better and more stylish then anything i have ever seen on phones. And the user interface is the best in the world.
Apple are the market leaders at this moment with this fone. its coming to xmas and they have launched a fone that people will be doing anything to get there hands on. o2 busines partners cant even get hold of them the demand is so high, but i dont think it worth it.. but there are dumb people that will pay n buy it.. so why not charge them!
if the phone doesn't have
voice redialing,Multiple person to send sms,No Mp3 file as a ringtone. can't save incoming call,no games so,...what do you thing about this phone?
for me those feature are MUST in any basic phone for specially for that price!!
We have nearly found the complete phone, although this one is still a little way off. I dream of having one, small device in my pocket that i only have to charge once a day to do everything i need. this is my 'dream' phone (i think we are about a year away from it):
The iphone, with its thin, sexy looks and great userface.
-Add bluetooth (this is a must have for all phones and apple only didnt allow it so people couldnt send tunes to each other)
-add a quality camera, not a amazing camera, no camera phone will ever match a proper digital camera but one thats good enough for say facebook uploads and takes a good sharp picture in clubs, and also has decent video record i.e. N95.
-TV tuner, this is the next level for phones and the finale for handsets. It has been talked about for a while but i think networks are waiting for the analoug switch off to free up the airwaves. It will complete everything you could ever want in a phone, it should have the function to record programs onto the handset easily (like Sky+) so you can watch them back later. Total entertainment.
so in one device you would have:
wifi real internet browsing,
GPS maps (sat nav),
bluetooth (a updated quicker version that would allow users to send large files i.e. recorded tv shows to each other.)
and of course a phone!!!!
all this in a fairly decent sized handset that has enough battery life to allow a decent amount of usage daily.
This way you would only ever need to worry about one thing in your pocket, you could connect the handset to your tv and stereo via bluetooth and stream videos/music/photos.
at the moment there is similar devices i.e. N95 but without the Tv tuner but the phone is slow and too large. The is by far the closest but still lacks some big features.
Until then, i continue to dream....
O2 have just announced that the iPhone is their "fastest selling device ever".
Are they smoking crack?
Where were the queues of people lining up to buy it? Because that would show that such a statement really was true. Where are the people who actually own one? Because of a hundred or so people - I know none.
I do not know anyone who even knows anyone who knows someone who owns an iPhone.
This is again desperate propaganda - in the hope of kickstarting sales - for what has been massively dissapointing iPhone sales.
They should have known that even if you do have a desirable - yet utterly flawed - device, if you charge people an entire paycheck for the length of the contract, hardly anyone is going to be interested...
i love my iphone..but my battry is very bad :(
just 1.5 day
up to 3 h
but ilooOOOoooove it
No matter what the world says...
but apple is the daddy of all...
so stop wasting ur time just go buy it...
I really like this phone - it's so cool! Apple always manages to be innovative in everything that they do. I can't wait to have this phone available in South Africa - I'll be the first few to get it.
No, it will not. Do not restore or update the software. If itunes is set to automatically update the software, disable the function (settings).
using hsdpa on voda is well odd,it can try to open up two connections sometimes 3g then 3g+ and you cannot call or recieve txt whilst in hsdpa..When i had n95 it come with a warning that in hsdpa mode it is not possible to make calls so hsdpa is really good???? (not),, and its speed varys violently here in cheshire if you get it to connect just on hsdpa
As i said before in my previous post , using 3g on t-mobile uk on an n95 severely disrupts calls and data. Only when i switched to gsm was calls and data stable. Wether this is relevant? As iphone not on t-mobile uk
Hi brynn, you can always just turn off the 3G radio on your 3G phone, it will then fall back to 2G and then the battery life will increase.
In fact if what Jobs had said were true, rather than him just trying to get people to buy a phone without decent technology, he would have had the iPhone use 2G for voice and only use 3G for data. No reason to leave it out.
The O2 network is OK for 3G (never had a problem with it) but it’s not as fast as the others i.e. no HSDPA as far as I know but their 3G network has much more coverage then their EDGE network will (have they actually enabled it yet? Is anyone getting true EDGE speeds or are they just getting GPRS speeds but with an E on the phone?).
You are certainly right about it being a fashion phone and for those that want it for that purpose it is certainly worth the money. I’m looking at it more from the functionality point of view (with an eye on styling) and I’m thinking that most people would be better off getting an iPod Touch for £199 and getting a decent phone and the contract of their choice.
ive been reading thru comments and altho only had 2 minutes with i-phone i have a point for not against steve jobs,,hes damn right about 3g it does eat battery and is unreliable even if you have full strength signal so why not leave it out,,plus o2 3g is the least covered with 3g,,perhaps why steve choose o2 maybe..There is also the fact thats its a fashion fone and most people may buy it for that reason and they most probably only talk and text which is fine,,and watever fashion fone you do buy its likely to have bad camera i.e. nokia luna,,moto v3/v3i or the serene by samsung/b&o so despite the price this fits the fashion categorys general specification to a tee
hey dudes i dont think that its very expensive!!If you have relatives in the us send the iphone to them and they'll send it to you, after that you just have to unlock it and have fun!!its just 399 dollars.here in cyprus the iphone is 399 pounds.thats like double the price of a iphone in the us
