Euro Market , missing this missing that, bla bla bla, but I am taking back FIVE Iphones to Europe for my friends this week, this product is an unbelievable success, without 3G bluetooth file exchange, but who cares with all the other unique features
Wait for the next generation, then the next one, the next one
and keep complaining after five years, F.U.D. guys
( fear uncertainty doubt ) never contributed to mankind progress !
Well I dunno duude, like this phone is cool but like it might be too expensive and I'll be down a few hundred dollars and then I won't be able to buy drinks and go to the movies, so like, I dunno duude.
I absolutely love Apple, but they havent thought about the Euro market with the iphone. I wouldnt recommend buying one until the 2nd or 3 rd revision, and Apple produce updated products every 6 and bit months usually. Also with Macworld just around the corner who knows what he could announce.
Back to the phone, they have missed many key functions off the iphone which has made me decide not to buy it.
There is no MMS sending or receiving and no bluetooth file transfer to another phone or to your computer. The only thing bluetooth can do on the iphone is sync up to a headset NOTHING else.
Also there is no saving messages to draft for sending later, if you dont have signal you cant save your message to send later you have to type it all again. In addition there is no multiple participant SMS sending, if you need to send a generic text to 5 people be prepared to type your message 5 times.
There is no flash on the camera and no 3G. With Edge think of your old dial up 56k connection internet and thats the speed it is on the iphone.
All in all the iphone is all hype not substance. The only revolutionary thing about it is the multi touch which is very good. None the less the phone will sell very well because of all those who are not Apple fans buying it for fashion and don't actually know anything about the phone.
HTCTYTN now there is another good phone. possibly better than n95.
you best bet is to buy a HTC TyTN and get the Iphone hack works and look slike a iphone but on a real phone ! XD
Ok just a quick update on day 2.
So far, not very good.
The novelty of the handset gets old, Fast! If i want to change the artist im listing to i dont want to have to go through tilting the phone the right way, scroll through hundreds of album covers, just to change track.
The handset after less than 24 hours, has stopped charging with the main charger, it will only charge through the USB port.....
All Youtube videos, and distorted and don't render properly (blacks being replaced by bright greens).
The Wi-Fi on the handset is very hit and miss. My PC uses a wifi adaptor and has a nice strong signal all the time, the Iphone will drop the connection alot and has a very weak signal.
Maybe this is because its the first batch for the UK but so far im not as WoWed as i thought i'd be....
no you can't transfer files back and forth. stick with your u600. i had the samsung d900 and it was good, now i have the nokia n95 and i really love this phone.
hi , plz advice me ( buy thes mobile or not ) i have samsung U600 now , and i want to know if i can downlaod ringtones from the computer to it by the cable ? and can i change the ringtone , how can i take songs or pictures from my friends can i or no ? plz answer me
j2. If you must have a gps then you will not find it in the i phone. htc has it in some of their phone's, nokia n95, i mate, also if you buy the i phone apple put's rescriction's on you. no video recording, no bluetooth transfer, no song's as ringtone's unless you PAY. 150 dollar's to unlock. no voice dialing. according to this other guy you don't need gps. i guess he can see street sign's at night alot better than we can.
make sure you which method was used to uplock your iphone, you might need that info to update your fw later on. And dont just update th fw from itunes it will mess up ur iphone. There is a procedure to updating fw. Other than that it's all do and no more dont's
some one please tell me the do's & dont's of using a unlocked iphone.
just look at the brand APPLE
i love APPLE just like all the girls love LV (i fxxkxx hate LV, 3000 = a bag)
2 of my friends got Iphone and it's really cool but i wouldn't buy it, i don't listen to music a lot and i must have a GPS coz i always get lost
it is nice you only buy it because you need a newphone and you need a ipod
i was surprised to find out from i phone user that there is no navigation only map's and start and finish ,how to get there, which is still o.k, but i prefer navigation if i'am in an area i don't know especially at night. try reading some street sign's at night.

I work for a company in the Uk, and i have the I-phone to have a play about with for a while.
So far impressions - Really Good.
The things that stand out in this phone are:
- Safari browswer, without a doubt the best mobile web browser around, super sleek, fast and easy to use, nothing comes close so far.
- I-pod section of the phone fantastic, flipping through album art like the I-touch, 3mm headphone jak, loudspeaker is very quiet though for a music phone, through headsets, sound is top notch.
- Photo browsing is a delight, as well as watching videos, the screen is fantastic, crystal clear, nice and big, photo manipulaion is great fun, and the "Pinch" teechnology for zooming is ace.
Only had the phone for a few hours so far, some not so great aspects:
- The camera is poor, this isn't a camera phone, you shouldn't expect miracles and you won't get them. No video recording either.
- The handset itself gets very warm after only a few minutes of web browsing, nothing major but diffently wasn't expecting that amount of heat to be given off.
- Pre-selection of ringtones/message tones, pathetic in this day and age, the whole buying ringtones off I-tunes is another way to rip people off by apple.
- No multi-media messaging, dudes cummon, really dissapointing for a phone released in 2007.
- The handset it's self is very heavy, not horribly so, but still fairly chunky, its also a major fingerprint magnet.
Overall not a bad experience, but it's apples first go and they did a good job.
I think i'll wait for their 2nd attempt though.
if you enable 3rd party support for the iphone YOUR WARRANTRY IS VOID. Do not do this, especially if you know anything about apple. lots of apple products break before warrantry. e.g., my ipod shuffle did. only way to repair is send off to apple, who will know you installed 3rd party applications, and will NOT repair your phone, as the warrantry is VOID.
