just wondering if maybe t-rex works for o2, and rather than him just being arrogant and incorrect, that maybe o2 and carphone have a different policy?
T-rex your bang wrong! I have the T&C's in black and white,so I have facts rather than your opinion or what you believe to be true! Once again people there is NO 14 day return on iphone unless you have purchased online ( and then you only have 7 days ) or if you have failed the check and have proof!
Carphone legend did u used to work in phones4u by anychance? just wondering because you sound very confused.
It's a 14 days return with o2 stores and online read the back of the terms and conditions and you will see for yourself.
Or you could contact the A-team who will be taking all customer service calls for o2 iphone and i'm sure they will explain to you briefly, bit by bit, and very slowly for you in english that's it's a 14 day policy when you purchased the h/set and it's 28 days to return the h/set if faulty and they will swap it atraight away for a new one.
Ups the insurance policy as well, I won't go too much into it but iphone has it's own insurance policy for those who want to take insurance, you can only obtain it by contacting cust serv
and just to re-iterate, i do know that all other o2 connections have the companies standard 14 day policy on them, however the iphone is a multi launch, with a special deal done with both apple o2 and cpw, when they all sat down they all agreed the terms and conditions and this is where it differs from o2's usuall contracts, it is not just o2 controlling it is also apple. Infact i tell you what mr. rex, on friday a 6.02 go and pay 270 quid then try and take it back the next day, i sure know i won't be :)
Slim is right,if you want to mis-sell then do so but you will be the one with angry customers and the headaches! There is NO 14 day on iphones
it....is....not....a....normal.......o2....contract......
and i merely mentioned orange because of the porevious comment saying that all networks have to by law offer a 14 day return. I have done the training and i do know what i am talking about, if you want to miss sell feel free, but i know who's gonna have more problems :)
With o2 it's a 14 days return weather it's been ordered online or bought from a store so instead of asking orange who hasn't got exclusive rights to the h/set in the uk as it's only exclusive to o2 in the uk ask o2
14 days policy so slim stop arguing and find out the real facts, you've supposed to have had training lol
good phone i have two set. my brother has sent me this from UK.
1.Why no 3g?
2.Wifi is mostly of no use for for rural india which in fact a big market.
3.why o.s. Mac , prefferably it should be microsoft
* Do we expect new announcement from apple
just like orange have recently announced a no 14day return policy, as well as 3, there will be no returns on the iPhone unless it is bought online where the law actually states 7 days. This is due to the fact that the consumer in this case may not have seen the product. In a shop situation the rules are different, as long as the customer is aware of any no returns policy there is no law that says they must be able to return, this of course does not affect their rights to an exchange of a faulty product in 28 days. The long and short of it is this is not a normal o2 contract it is an agreement till the consumer gets home, thus o2 usual rules don't apply, please don't miss sell this product or yoi will have I much trouble ahead of you!
It may well state on o2 contracts about 14 day returns but this does not apply to iphones as you do not sign a contract instore. The only way you can return one is if you fail the credit check at home on itunes and have proof of this. The only exception is if you buy online and then you have a 7 day returns policy due to distance selling regulations. I have this in black and white so thats the end of the arguement!
Checked the info again and you cam return your h/set within the 14 days of purchase.
Instead of asking me to check the info please read the faq on o2.co.uk and you will see the facts.
You can return your h/set within the 14 days if your not happy and that applies to all handsets for o2.
Go onto the o2 website and check yourself it's in english so hopefully you can understand it when it tells you in the faq that you have 14 days to return the h/set if your not happy and a full refund will be given when u send everything back
And if i was you please seek more training as i've been working on the systems and exploring the online ssytems for customer to credit check themselves which they can do from there own pc :-)
All stores i.e o2 store, carphone werehouse and apple have a 14 days return for the iphone not seven days please find out the facts before posting and those who are on a contract it states this on the small print on the terms and conditions
Googlemap is free of charge to use :-) depending on the network your using.
It's foc with o2 as it's unlimited data and unlimited wifi
Yeh we got 6 in our store the other day, nice lookin phone but a huge gimmick as far as im concerned, like ny nintendo Wii! Everyone wants it cos its Apple and thats it.

It is alway drop and drop everyday. but the problem is at Apple sale price only 499USD if this price in my country is OK ready for me. Other one is Nokia N95 8GB it price start 850USD untill now around 790USD. It maybe not long will drop to around 550USD I think.

well this may sound like a stupid question. but for the iphone, r the google maps apps free of charge for using? or there's an internet browzing fee? i assume there's a fee that we have to pay
hey CE, just a quick reminder. Bluetooth object/file transfer, 3G, video, text forwarding have been available wayy before the iPhone came out buddy. I was considering the iPhone until I compared features to my BB 8120, then I saw the plans with AT&T + no discount on iPhone for new contract = staying with the good'ol Bb and T-mo
