Here is one of the many video software, you can even do video conferencing, try to do it with one of the plastic bricks
from the other manufacturers, that once you buy you are stuck with what you get caveman !
Ahmad: I dont disagree with you this phone lacks in services BUT you have a choice. Get a phone for looks or for function. I am getthing this phone for its looks and not for function. If I wanted a function phone, I would for sure go for SE or Nokia. This phone has A LOT of 3rd party apps, just look it up. You can add NES Roms, flashlight, games and whole lot more. This is a completely programable phone and many functions can be added except 3G. You also have to realize 3G isn't being used to its fullest over here in the States, 3G would have been important for Europeans and a good selling point.
i don't know why alot of people are soooo excited about this Iphone thing, come on for god sake Camera is only 2 megapixel and it has no auto focus or any settings, and U can't record a video!!!!dah! u cant even choose a ringtone, no 3G, No third party applications, browser doesn't support Flash and Java, bluetooth is very basic it doesnt support anything what kind of phone is this in 2007!!!! n95 8g with the new battery and 8g memory and even bigger screen will be the kind of all phones especially to this crap called Iphone, dont u guyz agree with me??
no mms, no regular blutooth, other kind of voice mail ( saks), battery life short and only they can change...lool...thats why price going down for 399.00
You are lucky that this is a programmable phone, future upgrades apps will address the issue
i just got my unlocked iphone. i live in the Phillipines & thought i was lucky to be one of the few to have an iphone. disadvantage of this phone is not having the choice to send multiple text msgs(here in the philippines, text messaging are often used than calling). you cannot also forward text msgs that were sent to, no mms/picture msg feature. you cannot also change the very soft sms tone,alarm,etc... I HOPE IPHONE would do something about these issues...
Because it is not a cast iron piece of metal and plastic like the other cellphones, but it is programmable upgradable device, with new software you will soon be able to send files via bluetooth, after all it has the bluetooth function !
Its a shame you can not send files by bluetooth, only works with a headset(Bad).
finally a GOOD and complete review, not only stupid comments from guys that have not even seen the phone
Thanks for the little review mate!
Its an excellent phone, 10/10, thumbs up!!!

irst Impressions: Unlocked Rogers iPhone
I've never done this before, but I thought I'd post my impressions after using my iPhone on the Rogers network for a little over a week. And in case you're wondering I used the Turbo Sim method.
First off, being an absolute Apple Fanboy, I bought the phone in Buffalo at the beginning of July. I quickly hacked it using the Anderson hack and had a nice iPod/WiFi device. Truth be told though, I didn't use it nearly as much as I should have for a few reasons...
1) So nervous about it... Really, I'm prone to dropping things.
2) I still had my 30GB iPod that holds everything.
3) No Phone!
So I got the Turbo Sim Hack... and let me just say WOW.
Finally, I don't have to carry my half broken Moto Razr and an iPod. Goodbye cracked Razr (garbage!), sold my iPod 30GB.
Taking calls is an absolute joy. Really, it makes talking on the phone so much more fun. I love the earphones with the little microphone. Call quality is awesome although the ringer definitely could be louder and the vibrate a touch more powerful (or mabye longer). Love contacts too, so fun scrolling through them, adding photos etc.
Text messaging is incredible. I really never used txt msg'ing on my Moto Razr, but now with the iPhone's incredible keyboard (which I love by the way). I txt message constantly.
I love being able to take photos and upload them to my web gallery! Really an amazing feature:
Battery life seems good so far. But I generally charge either every night, or every other night.
Ipod of course is incredible, which no doubt you'll all discover when Apple releases a new iPod on Wednesday.
My one issue. ROGERS and EDGE.
First off, I only have 10mb of data a month. A little over a week, I've already used 3mb.... and that's with barely using it. Everytime I download email it seems to use 500kb. The cost of data really does cripple the phone. When I'm not on WiFi, I never use the weather, stock, map, email, safari buttons unless I really really need to.
The only other hiccup around the phone is the ROGERS network. Now honestly, I'm not sure who to blame here, the phone or the network. But if the phone loses network connection, a warning comes up. This has happened a few times, which I find odd, and always around the same places around Toronto. One specific spot on the 401 near the airport and one spot going down Mt. Pleasant in Toronto. I guess I'm just not used to a phone that is so 'observant'. On all my other phones, I'm never told when the network has disappeared.
But other than that, I absoluetly love the phone and am thrilled to have finally got it working. Sorry for the rambling, but if you have any questions, feel free to post below.
So important telecom operators around the globe pay revenue sharing to the tune of millions and millions just because it is a dumb blonde, very sharp thinking.....
I wonder why they don't do it for Nokia and SE
