yo compare wcdma 2100 + quadband + hsdpa edge + bluetooth + 2.0 a2dp + wi fi b/g + voip fm radio internet radio + 5mp + gps symbian os 3rd ed 9.2 tv-out 3.5 mmjack output the new model will have 8gb
there are more features on a n95 then on a iphone and a w960 htc smartphones ...
symbian is better with nokia

i phone is good for music and video thats it
nokia is the best to have witgh all the connections capacity
if you only like the sony ericsson or i phone you wount do as much as a nokia symbian phone can do
even a small phone like e65 dose more cuz it s a blackberry...
i have a iphone and a n95 and so many things i can do with the n95 compared to the iphone it s amaysing
98% iphone owner extremely happy.
i still have N80. but not happy at all
I agree with what Bad Bob said earlier.
"Steve Jobs claimed it was the thinnest smartphone ever. WRONG (its not even a smartphone for does who think it is, it is a multimedia phone)
he claimed it has a software breakthrough at least five years more advanced than its competitors WRONG again (the iphone even lacks features on basic phones)
iPhone lacks a number of other handheld features that have not already been mentioned and are common in competing devices, including voice dialing, voice recording, instant messaging, a memory card slot, MMS, tethering, A2DP, common Bluetooth file transfer (OBEX), GPS capability, copy and paste, native games, support for MP3 files as ringtones, and it can not even film video. it lacks 3G, HSCSD, HSDPA, and it can be HACKED. other people can take control of this phone!
How usefull are its fancy features such as acceleremeter for auto-rotate? not very. are you going to rotate your phone all day? it has a touchscreen keyboard slower than an actual one. multi input useful? it makes the phone more friendly to your fingers but this feature is present in other phones and there are other fancy features it lacks, TouchFLO, VueFLO, Drag and drop, Vibetonz, handwriting recognition.
all music and videos must be loaded from itunes, so you just lose even more money :-) (iTunes + iPhone = iProfit)
if you want a multimedia phone like the iphone, get the Sony Ericsson W960.
if you want a phone mostly because of its camera get an XCute with 8MPx or the Samsung with 10MPx
if you want a good smartphone look at HTC, Qtek, i-mate, O2, Dopod. HTC is the worlds no1 smartphone provider. Qtek, i-mate, O2, Dopod are just different names for HTC.
i i have enough money to buy 3 iPhones if anyone can convince me that it is worth it, against all i hv just said, ill buy 3 iphones
i dont what people see in the iphone
It depends how you prefer to use the phone, if you will use mostly on retrieving email, web browsing and basic phone calls I think you are better off with the Iphone. N95 is a good phone but the maximum capacity of the battery is not enough to supply all the needs to operate. If you will use primarily in taking pictures and gps and phone calls go with the N95. I owned both of them but I'm leaning towards the Iphone.
look most of these people are crazy who buy these products, all because a big brand name conpany brings out a new product there all running to buy it please don't fool for this because you know life is to short for this rubbish crazy foolish people who need to get a life instead of buying things thay don't need
My friend said that when my friend call, he can't hear cleary. Why? It is the disadvantage of iphone or service? could u tell me.
people who bought this phone is crazy. the features is not so great as compares to other phone and i don't see what big deal about this phone. i can't understand why people queue up to buy such a gadget when it was released. they just follow trend and no brains..
it's no doubt a good phone but i won't buy it because there is no 3G..
this is an iphone forum and not se or nokia or other phones, which means everyone is entitled to an honest opinion as long as you own or tested the phone. What happen was, most of them are giving opinion without the facts nor they don't even hold or tested an iphone. If you like SE, Nokia or other brands please stay to your specific forum site.
i was fighting between getting what phones, between iphone, LG prada, or the nokia n90. the n95 just doesn't inthuse me. The thing I hate about the LG is i wanna have an mp3 player on it and like most cell phones, they have basic ones...and they sux0rs. The nokia n90 is the shiznit, but i just dont have that kind of money..$900 for a phone? i coul d buy a laptop, geez. I was skeptical about the iphone but then i went to the apple store. I've previously owned a Sony Ericsson, and if youve had one of those, you know how amazing the camera is. I personally love sony ericsson phones, but the designs are all the same and have gotten boring for me. and if they do have a nice design, like a swivel, theyre so damn bulky. anyway, at the apple store, tried out the iphone, fell in love. the camera is effing amazing. I have a camera with 5megapixels and it sux balls compared to iphones cameras. No, it doesnt have video, but what are you a filmmaker? battery dies out quick, no shiznit, but whatever. If youre a huge fan of music and like to take pics(nothing OD), iphone is for you. I hate carrying around a phone and ipod in my pocket. another thing that sucks is that its not unlocked...when you buy it anyway. i see new softwares coming out on ebay unlockin it and blahblah but be a little hesitant before you buy anything. most of them seem like scams.
Come on carlos, learn to read the posts before yours! as I said in my earlier post, anyone can see that the "N98" is not a real phone (and not even a concept), but a photoshop of the 8600 Luna!
and now,what do you chose?
iphone or this Nokia n98
with iphone you cannot send sms for multiple friends, when xmas arrive you have to send one sms by one !! ridicule iphone
uau..like people say , put text in iphone is not good:
What's so special about this phone? maybe the(apple)the camera is only 2MP..feature wise? i think id settle for SE P990 or P1..

at the end of this excelent article the autor states:
P.S. If you can give us some constructive criticism on this article – you are more than welcome, but please save us from the likes of “I don’t use SMS, so nobody needs this feature for sure”. Also, I can’t take such arguments as “they will chunk this/that in some time in future”. This product is on sale today, at this very moment.
