*the iphone was killed before it was born!!!!!!*
the n95 is way, WAY better than the iphone...
no touchscreen/touchscreen (big whoop-FINGERPRINT MAGNET!!!!!)
skinny-short-thick/wide-really tall-really thin
both have landscape view
removable battery/unremovable battery
heavy/HEAVIER (if the n95 is a "brick", then the iphone is a chunk of cement!!!)
memory card slot/no memory card slot
infrared port/no infrared port
2 colors/1 color
Apple's idea of car navigation is quite funny (and this was in the official iPhone welcome video). Use Google Maps to get the route and give your iPhone to passenger. Then the passenger reads the map and iPhone shows the intersections. LOL!!! Just like navigating with any regular printed map. Now that's "five years ahead"!
And what if your friend calls and asks you to check something from Google Maps. You say "sorry but I gotta hang up because I cannot browse the net while calling with this edge connection on my iPhone. LOL!!! Even my (almost) year ago released phone has HSDPA and GPS.
BTW. The iPhone killer comes from China:
holy s$#%! apple just said: it will cost $3.000! its a prohibitive price for a phone! i really dislike nokia phones but in this caso, go for n95 and be happy!!!
looks line one of the most expensive phones ever! and not as many features at top of the line nokia and SE phones... shame...
iPhone (4 giga model): $499.00 plus tax
AT&T voice 450 minutes/mos. $879.36 (2years)
AT&T data plan $839.76 (2years)
TOTAL (2 YEARS): $2,218.12 plus tax
i love this phone it looks sooooooo cool when im older im going to save up and buy this.
wow! how cool is the iphone going to be i cnt wait to get my hand on one... i wounder if all phones are going to be like the iphone that way it would get cheaper for me lol. WYNWOOD 4 LIFE DOWN HERE IN THE MIAMI KEEP HATIN WHATS GOOD....
doesnt look too bad but its os is very open concept which leads to hackers so dont keep your important info on this phone unless you want the world to know
I was woundering something and either nobody has thought about it or i dont read enough forums but it dosn't look like the iPhone has any games, given the multi-touch screen you would think it would be a great opertunity to put in some really cool games, do you think these will be reviled at launch?
so the iphone cannot be used right now with other GSM services except for AT and t???
I didn't get to continue my 3rd question.
3) Do you have to be close to your computer when using the internet, or can you be anywhere when using it ?
4) Can you really see people in the satelite GPS ?
1) Are the songs in this device downloaded and put on the cell phone by the owner, or are they already put in there when you get the cell phone ?
2) Are there monthly fees for the internet ?
3) Do you have to be close to you
hey guyz, apple itself is claimin that they have kept 2 features secret and will reavel it during the launch lets hope those are jack from the gifts
This phone doesnt support WAP push, no MMS, no IM. the GPRS is not clear, it is said to be class 10 but in reality that is just a speculation. Battery life expected to be lower than that of the ipod.
This is a huge phone. come on apple make it thin like your ipods. pick up your game
the iphone still uses gsm frequency band (850, 900, 1800, 1900) quad band. last time i check, iphone belongs to at&t, (not verizon or sprint) a gsm network carrier and it'll be sim locked.
i had heard that the iphone was not using gsm...is that an error or is it?
