The dog doesn't need iOS to work.
It's happily running on Android.
The controller itself houses a tablet. And it's an Android one.
You can't program using iOS since it's closed source.
iOS is lightweight and can't handle complex devices like a robot dog.

Their goal while designing the device was innovation not profitability.
Apple focus is less on innovation and more on profitability.
It was already operational at World Government Summit.

Chances are the robo dog will need to work with iOS devices to be viable in terms of profitability anyway :’D most android users won’t be able to afford it.

Thanks for the laugh though!

IOS is lightweight and can't handle complex devices like a robot dog.
Locked, restricted, closed source OS simply can't handle higher complexity tasks & cannot be used for heavy duty applications.

Anonymous, 13 Aug 2020Very small battery not even 4000mA, let alone 5000mA or 6000mA.Yet the battery life is comparable or even better than most 4500-5000mah battery Androids :D
Thank you for reminding us why iOS is so amazing!

Lol what does a robo dog have to do with phones? I love how much straw grasping you have to do to try get your invalid points across though, it’s hilarious :D
So did you buy the robo dog?

IOS is lightweight compared to it.
"spot" the robot dog by Boston dynamics runs on Android.
It would not have been possible to make it work with iOS.

This literally means that Android is a resource hog, you are literally telling us that Android needs more to equal iOS which means android is less efficient, you keep repeating this.

The performance from Apple is just magnificent. Android lags behind Apple. Samsung's Exynos is just a piece of crap. Too bad they are selling Exynos all over the world, while Snapdragon only for USA, South Korea and China. Such a scam from Samsung.

SizN80, 05 Aug 2020Nobody goes for more cores for marketing. You are now claiming that the marketing team has say... moreYou said in one of your previous comments that "apple's hexa core beats android's octa core processor and android is struggling with its octa core processor against apple's hexa core processor". In your reply I said that both processors have been designed differently so your point that a hexa core beating an octa core processor is not right.
Secondly I said android runs on a different software which needs some more specs to run it faster. It didn't mean that android is insufficient or anything like this. But you just wanted to prove android is inferior so you just picked a wrong point from my reply. The last point I made about design approach of a processor, you didn't even get it.
Whatever I said, you just misunderstood it just to say that android is inferior. Then you think that I am defending it and making excuses.
At least learn to talk somebody when you are making your point and try to understand things instead of just taking sides.
Lastly I would say if you don't like android, you can go use your iPhone. There is no need to argue here on things you don't understand. I use both iPhone and an android and I never took any manufacturer's side. Both got their own pros and cons. Apology from my side if I said anything rude.

You are now claiming that the marketing team has say in the number of cores a phone uses? Please stop spewing nonsense here, first you say that androids are inefficient and now you write this long paragraph trying to backpedal, lol,if you don’t know just say it mate, stop trying to come up with weird excuses.

That's why I said it is different. Secondly there are two approaches mostly for designing a processor. These approaches can also be seen often in computer processors as well.
Out of those approaches one approach is to go for more number of cores like in androids. While the second approach is to make a processor with less number of cores like Apple. Apple goes for their approach because their priority is energy efficiency and performance. While android goes with its approach for performance and for the purpose of marketing, just like more mega pixel approach in cameras. It is just how each manufacturer has its own piece of strategy. It is nothing like one is the best and the other is just average or bad. I hope it helps.

Not worth, i do... moreWell I think the screen is not bad, it is very good and its colors are accurate because it does have HDR 10. Also the brightness is upto the mark. So overall the resolution, screen quality and colors and brightness all are very well and upto the mark. It is not a bad display.

Yes there are better alternatives in terms of display and in terms of price to value ratio. A lot of phones have sharper displays with more resolution and better colors but this display is not bad, it is a good one.
