Rivsan, 22 Jun 2020I haven't try using iphone. Is 4gb ram enough? Compared to a 12gb ram of samsung?4 GB ram for iPhone is just like having 12 GB ram on Samsung so you won't notice any difference between Apple and Samsung when it comes to ram management. Both have excellent ram management and iPhones generally don't need a lot of ram like androids because their software is different from androids. They are good in ram management even with 4 GB ram. Samsung's 12 GB ram may not have a huge edge over Apple as it seems to compare 4 vs 12 GB ram so, they are more or less equal in ram management.

RG, 26 Jun 2020I need to buy a new phone but I am trying to decide between Iphone 11 or Samsum Galaxy S20, wh... moreIf you are a fan of Samsung's super amoled displays and their better colors then S20 is suitable for you. It also has more features than Apple.
If you think gaming performance and software security is your top priority then you should go for iPhone. iPhones are also well optimised when it comes to software comparison.
Cameras and battery backups of both the S20 and iPhone 11 are very good. You won't need to worry about them.

Luxray69, 01 Jul 2020Why would u pay for something that is obviously worse than something that is cheaper and bette... moreEvery device has its own pros and cons and every person has its own needs. Your budget also matters in buying any phone. So it depends which phone you think will fit your needs.
iPhone's pros are its performance and software security.
Androids have better displays and some extra features. Android also offers wider range of phones ranging from high end to mid range to a lower end phone.
Cameras are good in both iPhones and androids and it depends whether you like iPhone's camera or Android's camera results and specs.
So it totally depends upon a user which approach he has towards a device either a closed end secure software like Apple or an open ended software environment like android giving some more variety.

JO, 07 Jul 2020iPhone 11 PRO's battery is not worth it, it's battery performance is like our local ... moreActually it is not like that Apple's battery isn't good. It is because your local phone's manufacturer giving a good 4000 or 5000 mah battery. This may be because of growing competition in androids that the low end androids also get better batteries now a days. But still most of the times you don't get wireless charging, fast charging and things like that in those low end androids.
So Apple's battery is pretty good, the scenario here is different!

Anonymous, 19 Jul 2020Sony has the best camera lense in smartphone category but their own smartphone are not that good 😢😢Sony's latest Sony Xperia 1 II is a very good phone overall having solid gaming performance and outstanding display. Its rear camera result is also very good. Only their front camera result is a bit disappointing, apart from that the phone is good enough!

Anonymous, 26 Jul 20204 gigs of ram at that price is just ridiculous. Have fun reloading tabs and apps. Bro actually iPhones don't need much ram because their software is designed from one manufacturer and when it is combined with the hardware, it is optimised well and doesn't need much ram.
Androids get their software from google and the phone manufacturer also adds its own user interface in the android system which needs more ram to run smoothly. Although they try to make user interface lighter and optimise software well enough but still it needs a bit more ram to run well and for multi tasking.
iPhones don't need that much ram even for multi tasking, it would be better if iPhone had 6 GB ram but still 4 GB is enough for them to run smoothly and for multi tasking. That's the reason that you won't see much ram in iPhones and they will not reload apps when multi tasking. Their multi tasking ability is good enough even with 4 GB ram because they are designed differently!

jeli, 22 Jul 2020does this phone good for gaming?iPhone 11 pro max is the best phone for gaming as far as the performance is concerned. If you want a phone with 90 or 120 hz display for a bit smoother touch during gaming, you can also go for androids but always go for snapdragon processors in androids because they are better for gaming than other android chipsets. For gaming either go for iPhones or snapdragon androids, other chipsets may not provide that much solid gaming performance.

M.O, 24 Jul 2020I'm tired of people trying to scrutinize apple ideas and hardware, or trying to compare g... moreAs far as the performance is concerned, iPhones are the best and are 2 years ahead of their android competitors. Snapdragon is closer to Apple chips in performance and the gap is narrowing each year. Right now the gap is not huge but still no doubt Apple has the lead and is better than snapdragon. Exynos and other chipsets struggle when compared against Apple but the thing is that comparing phones and arguing is not the way to see things. Every phone has its own pros and cons and the fact is that it depends upon personal needs.
If somebody wants a well optimised fast phone and wants to play games efficiently without much frame drops, Apple is the best.
If somebody wants a bit open usage ecosystem giving a bit features and a bit better display then android is for them.
Camera wise both phones are good, it depends upon personal preference.

M.O, 24 Jul 2020I'm tired of people trying to scrutinize apple ideas and hardware, or trying to compare g... moreActually people see things numerically which can mislead most of the times. Smartphone brands know this trick and they use this more mega pixel and more ram thing as their marketing strategy to give a solid impression of their device. Specs don't matter that much, performance matters more.
As far as iPhone is concerned, it is true that its software is such designed that it doesn't need a lot of ram. Android needs more ram to run smoothly but like 12 GB or 16 GB ram is just not required even for androids. It is just for marketing strategy and to make sure that a flagship android is prominent from mid range androids and it gets enough ram to stay in competition for at least the next 4 years. That's why they pack flagship androids with extra specs but that doesn't mean it can beat phones with less ram. Chipset matters more in performance than ram when you compare phones even they are both androids or one android compared against an iPhone. Ram is a wrong parameter for performance judgement.
More mega pixel can just give you more zoom or slightly better colors but that doesn't mean your camera is the best. Number of cameras or mega pixels don't matter much, picture quality and details matter which are linked to camera lens and sensor.
Unfortunately people get trapped in these specs at times and start arguing. Some specs matter but most of them are not as useful as they appear!

They also lack a bit in overall innovative features for the phone and this is a bit disappointing. Let's hope if they can overcome this in coming years.

I use too much my iphone 11 pro and my battery health is already at 92% its frustrating. So i decided to buy a second device. I skipped galaxy s20 because of exynos in my country France. I bought oneplus 7 pro 8/256 go as secondary device. I tweaked a little bit the device (in developper options i set all animations to 1,5 instead 1 bcz i prefer smoothness instead snappy). To be honest , with this 90hz and This oxygen os my 11 pro feels so outdated. With 1.5 animations this device feel 2x smoother than ios what a shame. Its the first time i feel ios so outdated. Its a real kickass. Please apple, we need at least 90hz display. Imagine a second 120hz oneplus 8 or s20 ultra. I won’t buy iphone again if they don’t give us high refresh rate.

I'm tired of people trying to scrutinize apple ideas and hardware, or trying to compare gimmicks with Apple's A-Series processor cus they doesn't need that much of ram, and apple doesn't use gimmicks features as other companies. if the processor had to have 16GB of RAM or 108MP it would have been an overkill and certainly it would be 100x faster than any phone, and imagine now that the iPhone 11 pro as 12MP and it's a beast on taking photos and making videos, so just do the math. They would be 4years or even 5years ahead of any snapdragon powerd phone. So don't go writing garbage

I been a long time apple user until 2015. I particularly swore off the iphone not only for their lack of innovation, lack of usability across platforms, and proprietary functions; but the most annoying thing that drove me away is their predatory and aggressive methods of locking in people to the apple ecosystem. I almost forgot to mention the useful life of all iphones being exactly 1 year to the date. All iphones will be pushed adjusted performance calibrations through updates for the sole purpose of making people buy the newest iphones released. This is not a good business strategy and I dont support it. Im waiting for the day iphone comes up to androids old standards to where they will allow you to have easy ability to move storage between units and systems without using itunes or icloud, have universal charging cables, and at minimum to stop purposely downgrading iphone performance regardless of app, storage, and phone usage in general. @ebmjxj
