DO NOT GET THIS PHONE
I used this phone for almost three years. During that time, the following broke by themselves: the Face ID sensor, the silent mode switch, the charging port and the Bluetooth reader. I am not able to update to iOS 18 despite having more than 4x the sufficient storage space and factory resetting the phone. Not to mention that the back glass is extremely fragile and expensive to repair.
The battery life can't go without mentioning. You will have to charge multiple times throughout the day. I'm glad that they fixed this with the 13 Mini.
Onto some pros, the compact size is incredibly helpful and makes your phone easier to carry with you. The screen resolution and refresh rate are great for a phone of that size.
Overall, you would be much better off going for the 13 Mini if you want the compact size.

I bought the 12 mini, refurbished from Amazon, as a stop gap after i switched from a 14 pro to a Samsung s22 ultra, i like the samsung but I’m an iPhone guy at heart, so i wanted a cheap iPhone again, and I have previously owned a regular iPhone 12, but these were over my budget of £230.
I love this as a replacement, for now. The cameras are good, 5G network use is fast, and they're fantastic value for money in 2024. I paid £175 for a 128gb model, when most 64GB were more expensive (£190+).
My only problems with the 12 mini are that its speakers aren’t the best, even with the bass boosted EQ setting, they seem to be heavier on mid and trebles. Also, coming from a phone with a 6.9inch display down to one that is only 5.3 is very much a hard adjustment to make, especially typing, or playing games that require a sensitive touch.
Other than these small things, the 12 mini makes for a decent iPhone experience on a budget, whether for a replacement or as a first iphone.

Seriously,this is my favorite cellphone.it's tiny,feels great when you hold it.
and it is so pretty,i can forgive anything bad when you see it.
I use it almost 3 years,the shortage is the battery can't support me for like 3 hours if i keep use it.
I need to keep a power bank with me,or i am not going anywhere.
And do not use it to play game,you got be burn(just a jk)

Got this recently in the refurbished market and I'm super happy with it!
If you're a heavy user this battery life definitely isn't for you, but if you're a light user like me then it's perfect. I disabled background refresh for apps that don't need it, adjusted some locations settings, disabled 5G, added a pure black wallpaper, switched to dark mode and now this is a 2 day phone. Yes, 2 days of battery life! Without even using low power mode!
I was super worried about the battery since everyone has always said it's "awful" but it has really surprised me. But be warned, as I said, I'm a light user. My screen time is usually less than 1h per day. (And this is with 100% battery health, just around 90 cycles).
Depending on the type of user you are, the 5.4'' screen size can either be a pro or a con. For me it's definitely a pro, as there's almost no real alternatives to the 12 mini and the 13 mini nowadays. It's very comfortable for daily one-handed use.
Highly recommended if you prefer smaller phones and if you're a light user! 👍 Otherwise there's like 300 different new phones that suit your needs much better.

i want to buy this iphone 12 mini but it’s impossible maybe to find a brand new one right? my question is, is it worth to buy this phone in used condition? i mean is the battery draining very fast? since it is only had 2200 mah battery, is the speaker good?

so its june 24 and i bought this as I have upgraded from pixel to my first iPhone 12 mini it is worth upgrading , camera is amazing performance and overall features is very good and tbh I ts battery is much more and better than pixel 5 ,
