Just finished a 24 hour period on 1 charge. At 24 hr mark battery was at 29 percent. I am a moderate user and the screen in time was 4hrs. I have no doubt it could go 5/12 hours SOT in any 18hr period. That’s all you need. The size is fantastic and the screen and SOC are amazing. 700 bucks... id recommend to anyone. This phone brought me back from using android as there are no small androids left. Apple is simply filling a niche abandoned by android.

The 2227mah battery is fine, it can cope with Tiktok, social networking and taking photos all day!
It doesn't need a huge battery! It serves it's purpose well!

Many ppl comment bad about battery size, but mine opinion is iOS not required big battery capacity moreover it is equip with the 5nm chipset. 5nm chipset will be good and efficient for battery saving. We are carrying a phone, not carrying a battery

now a smaller screen efficient processor will give alright battery life in stuff like video playback
until you stress it with games or high brightness or use camera ,,phone,5g
got to remember when phone using camera its using battery capacity and you only have 2200 that will deplete very quickly

Morgant, 14 Nov 2020Still using my Samsung A3 2016 which have a bigger battery. Amoled. NFC. Radio. I really loved the a3 especially the 2017 edition, wish Samsung could bring it back, but with the Chinese competition specs are all that matters. Still, you're talking about an old 28nm soc, so battery size doesn't matter in this comparison.

The 12 Mini is absolutely great. Just the right size without losing anything in the specs. We have also a 12 Pro Max in the family and have been testing the cameras. Mini performs very well in this area and only in very low light will the big Max show a difference in photo quality.

Improve little bit Battery life otherwise, iPhone is a branded one. the good name and quality-wise best iPhone series 12 mini. soon as I will buy it.

How is the xperia 5 II a small phone, it's even bigger than the s10e, and Sony are even advertising it as a "gaming" phone. You want a small phone you get a small battery, you want good battery life, you need a bigger phone, that's how it is for know, until we get a newer battery technology.

2200mah in 2020 is to less
such as your not using the device for things like videos and applications whre it should be efficient
but a camera or calls will use lots of power and no efficiency there the smaller the battery the worse
example s10e gets superior battery life to s10 p
until you use camera or phone
3000mah would done well
they have been many phones of near this size with big batterys
the whole new iPhone batterys are a joke

The iPhone 12 Mini is 131.5mm long, nobody has a flagship-level performance device this size except Apple. The last Android based rival would've been the Samsung Galaxy S10e however, that's old now so...
