But they don’t tell the RAM and battery capacity because using those figures to judge performance is not the same on iOS as it is android. iOS uses less resources plus the processor has a huge role in battery performance. The iPhone 12 Pro Max has a smaller battery than the iPhone 11 Pro Max and the device is thinner, yet it still offers the same great battery life due to processor and other efficiencies that have been made over its predecessor

Android needs more RAM since it is using Java. Java’s garbage collection (remove unwanted tasks/data/processes) mechanism is a flawed mechanism. It needs a lot of headrooms to efficiently sweep the garbages. Because of that, Android mobiles slow down dramatically when there is less memory. To postpone the occurrence of such issues, Android mobiles are stuffed with more RAM which just postpones the lagging issues.
iOS doesn’t have any such constraints. iOS memory management is pretty great and optimised to work seamlessly with its corresponding hardware since Apple controls both hardware and software of the iOS devices.

iphone 12 pro max has a 6 gb but faster than the samsung ???

Love this phone. But will stick with huawei P30 pro and wait if next iPhone come with typeC and at least 90hz refresh rate. Then I'll buy for sure...

SmartUser, 24 Nov 2020I don't know why apple doesn't reveal its device specs publicly The problem with spec, and it appears a lot here and other tech website, is when people are more focalized on the spec sheets than the products in real life.
A lot of things can't be put on a spec sheet and are not especially less important than the chip frequency etc. I wouldn't have bought a Sony X1 for the spec sheet, especially coming from a Huawei, but the day to day experience is far better (for me) with the Sony. Even with a "bad" spec sheet. I found out by trying the phones myself (thanks the 14 days "trial" in Europe). So yeah, it's understandable. Also, if you want to stay on the iOS ecosystem, you don't really have a choice, so spec sheet is irrelevant.
