erik-eE, 13 Nov 2009ive bought the iphone butt i am really unhappely surprised about the batterylife, does anyone ... moreTurn off your bluetooth,wifi and 3G if you don't browse internet,set the brightness to medium,turn push email into manual,also if you want to play games / Apps.longer than an hour it's better to switch to flight mode,it's a little irritating i know but those ways help increasing my iPhone's battery life up to 40%,hope Apple will release update to solve the battery problem soon.

Anonymous, 10 Nov 2009all about speed dude, the new 3gs has a 3 mega-pixel camera and is.....apparently twice as fas... moreno. the 3g is not thinner than the 3gs. they are the same. and 3gs is heavier than the 3g.

I have had tons of smartphones/pdas and yes the iphone 3g i have now doesnt have all the features my old phones had BUT -its by far the sexiest, easiest to use phone ive ever had. Everything just flows on the screen. Its a wonderful experience overall and that counts for more in my book than havign the best specs...Simple if you dont like it dont get it.

i haven't used iphone before and i am thinking to buy either iphone or sony ericss... moreWhat you'll miss when you buy iPhone:
1)No bluetooth sharing,well actually there is an app.for it but it only worked with another iPhone,the App.itself is ridiculously cool,you just put your files you want to move in the App.and flick it to the other iPhone then it's done,no pairing at all.
2)No video recording,unless you jailbreak it and get the App.from other sites.
3)Not too many multitasking,there is some sort of it but not like winmo when you could open up to 8 Apps.at the same time.
What you get when you buy iPhone:
1)Very simple,user friendly yet still the best user interface among touchscreen phones,i've tried HTC HD2 and NO it's still not as good as iPhone 3Gs.
2)TONS of Apps.and it's still growing,whether it's for business,entertainment,games,health,you name it and it's there,just need to browse it if you have plenty of free times,and those 3 points of weaknesses above is paid by TONS of Apps--there i said it again.
3)You'll get an iPod player instead of walkman player of SE,walkman is good,i admit that but iPod is much better.
4)The pleasure,you have to own an iPhone to know this and it'd take less than 24 hour to understand what i mean.

this phone sucks because it dosen't supports java softwares and there is no video camera nokia n97 is better than this

I have had many phones incl smart phones and they were useless
compared my iPhone 3gs. The iPhone is awesome easy to use
great browsing the web eg emails copy and paste sections of a
site. Just a real pleasure to use. I feel sorry for people who feel
like they have to rubbish the phone just because they cannot
afford a genuine iPhone. My work colleague has a N97 while
it has more features than the iPhone, after using the n97
I realized it was very clunky and tedious to use. Even
he wishes he bought the iPhone. iPhone rocks man!

i see some ppl say "its the best smartphone on the market blabla"...well i like iphone but i suggest those ppl look at real smartphones (hd2, omnia series etc)...no, iphone is not the best smartphone on the market, but its nice anyways. Its all about personal tastes and needs...

actually i don't know what iphone really can do and other phones can't do?
is the applications that iphone can work on are they really that important or just application for fun single use.
