I intended to buy Applei phone thinking it's a great deal. I think I got deceived, this phone is not value for money. There are so many upgrades/improvements it requires. Some time my phone used to ring & answer while it's in my pocket without my knowledge. Battery talk time is the worst experience I have noticed in this model, this phone is not even 4 months old but I am supposed to use it for two years on my phone plan. I may have to buy few charges & should keep battery chrgers every where I go or I should use the charger as an extra feature provided to this phone & should carry along with the phone. Cheers & God bless all users

how silly this phone. first one i used for 3 weeks & second one i used for 4 days after replacing first one by orange mtius. overall i lost my money. pls for me it the worst phone i ever known..........

All 3 i'phones are vabline products nothing ealse. I'phones are feature less and unsmart, smart as well os mac phone. It has not video call camera, led flash, even has not multitasking system. But only one thing it has and other many of the phone's has not that thing, and that thing is ULTRA HIGH PRICE. And thats why it is famous. actually it is very very bad phone but has high quality processor which is unsued. This phone is made for some bloody FOOL RICH men!!!

Good touch sensitivity but cheap build quality, crap camera, no bluetooth and buggy OS I dont understand all the hype around this outdated piece of tech.
so am selling my iphone, buy it!!

LG, Samsung, Nokia, and RIMM beat Apple to the revenue punch, but they don’t yield the same margins - closest player is RIMM with 20.7 per cent margin.
Interestingly, the cell phone handset industry yielded over $65 billion in the last 6 months. Of that, 9.7% was pocketed by the companies. It was recently announced that Apple received 32% of the total handset market's profits, equivalent to a whopping $2,038,000,000 - all through iPhone sales.

seems like there is a tread between software and hardware here. good software, but cheap hardware.

So ive had the iphone 3G for just over 2 months.. I have to say that the hype over this phone is just silly... It has a great OS in many ways... But i dont see why, ive had so many problems with this phone its just rediculous... the battery never lasts for more than two days if im lucky, there is dust allready under the glass on the actual lcd i mean come on ive never had that problem with any other phone! there are slight cracks forming on the white shell on the back. Also the OS has been playing up a lot lately, it would randomly say i have no sim card inserted when i do.. also it would completely freeze up sometimes and wont respond.
Although the OS is very good, its just a shame that apple have made a some what semi stable and very trendy user interface but have failed to maintain the quality throughout the phone! ie. dust under screen, cracking on shell (common faults with this phone), no proper bluetooth and especialy the no multi tasking!!
Otherwise i am selling my iphone.. any takers?

Can anybody help me ? Like Total Recall ( for recording all conversations ) in Nokia , can we have this type of software in iphone 3gs . If yes then from where i can get it.
If this software is avilable then i can purchase iphone 3gs.

I have had many "Smartphones" before but nothing compares to my 16GB Apple 3G. This is the benchmark to which every other manufacturer has to measure there equipment. Many of the short comings (bluetooth file transfer etc) can and will be fixed in the near future. Appple has concetrated on making a robust stable OS with a design that is miles ahead of other phones. The software will catch up and a simple update will fix the little short comings. So Steve Jobs & company rocks IMO. Next I will be purchasing my 1st Mac Book PRO. :P
